"The Internet is our tool against ignorance
in a rapidly changing world.
It empowers people to reach out and make a difference."

--David Barzilai

I believe in the power of the Internet to transform peoples lives. I consider myself lucky to be at the forefront of this digital revolution in education. It is an exciting time, but one that still leaves many educators floudering in its wake. The infusion of new technologies into the curricula is oftentimes met with much resistance resulting in setbacks to educational progress thus widening the digital divide between educators and their students.

My professional goal is to make a difference in education by working to find ways to bridge this "divide". I hope to provide my school and community with the tools needed to survive in this emerging Digital Age.

Over the last five years, I have done a lot of training to involve students, educators,and parents with these new technologies, particularly the Internet. I have designed a number of web sites that address issues in technology literacy-->

I hope the future brings me more opportunities like the ones I have just experienced. It is truly rewarding to be able to impact other people's lives in a small but profound way.

"The most important
function of education
at any level is to develop
the personality of the individual
and the significance of his life
to himself and to others.
This is the basic architecture of a life;
the rest is ornamental and
decoration of the structure."
