| Cupix: When i went to the Violent Delight gig at the Roadhouse in Manchester, i was expecting all the support bands to be punk. So after the first band, (who were pretty good by support band standards) had finished, Raised in Hell took the stage, i was surprised to find they were metal. I was also surprised to find they were fucking good, and had the professional sounds most band don't even reach when they have broke into the industry. Their riffs were exellent, the vocals were amazing, and the overall sound was clear which is rare at Roadhouse gigs. Their first song, 'Toxic Crusaders' caught my attention, and their second song 'Mayhem' blew me away. So, to any of you people who have stumbled on this site, I can only say this band are going to be famous, very soon. And if you are going to see them, its well worth the money. | When i set of to see Raised In Hell i was in no mood for a gig, i was tired and frankly pissed off from shit but since my other friends bailed at the last min and my nearest and dearest put the effort in to get directions I went. Well you know what they say about things looking and soundin better when your drunk well they were wrong, raised In Hell totally blew me away again but even more so this time and this time i could see straight. I watched the gig from the side and despite the usual Mic problems etc you get at a gig they played a pretty mean set! with some excellent covers (yes i love hallowed be thy name don't laugh) and brilliant origionals. They even had a little pit going which was funny to watch (rock on guys) They finished on a very melodic note which i thought was a little unusual but it seemed to fit in perfectly yet again raised in hell and yet again i recomend going to see them Cupix |
