| Rainy Day Ollie is a punk rock trio hailing from the sprawling metropolis of Grafton, Wisconsin. RDO got started in January of 2004 when lifelong friends Ben and Rick decided to start a side project from their other band (of the time) Zero Off. All three guys attended the same elementary school. Nick and Rick we're on the school's Odyssey of the Mind team together. Rick found out about Nick playing drums in late 2003, and the rest is history. At the first practice, the band tried to learn "Days of the Phoenix" by AFI (a band favorite). To this day they can't play it. A source close to the band says their sound reminds him of early AK3. The band doesn't really think so. Fans of bands like Anti-Flag, Blink 182, AK3, MxPx, and Allister should check RDO out.
