COLLEGE

surrender and leave your passion
in twillight you'll never find it
don't worry soon we're all
the same

I hear she still grants forgiveness
but I really need some happiness
could use a small touch of magic
and in winter will she even
be around

and even when you find her
she will lead you over and under
just relax and let it all happen
quickly

surrender then start your hunger
give in to the lack of structure
chaos can be your angel
or it can turn on you

and the passing lacks a balance
and the future causes hope and pain
you'll never win unless you
change this time

LYRICS BY ZANE WEST

I hide in shadows, never the sun on my face
there are others out there, but they hide more than I
not evil, or good.  those words are black and white
and we linger in gray

shadows won't keep you safe from us
nothing can save you when you've been chosen
think of your life as valuable
I know I do

I know how you feel, more than you could ever know
once I too was chosen, and now I have been picked again
hunters always pursue, don't think you can ever get away
delay, delay, but it will come eventually

I move in shadows, more than some others do
you and me we have to, or we're caught right away
take my hand, we can run together
you and I joined for eternity

watch us, know us, you want to love me
i could teach you joy in our scarlet embrace
you dear mortals, how could you even know
red and green flames have come for us all
NOT ENOUGH (a song)

CHORUS: not enough for you to stay
yet not enough to walk away
never what I wanted
never what you had to give

one and one and one makes three
never was just you and me
one and one and one makes three
always was too much to see

CHORUS

in our love it's empty
it should've set your soul free
in our love it's empty
never could you let it be

CHORUS

what you see is what you want
in my heart I wanted more
what you see if what you want
all my needs went out the door

CHORUS

and when I heard that door close
never before did I cry so long
and when I heard that door close
then I knew our love was wrong

CHORUS

and when I heard that door close
then I knew our love was wrong
SHE CAN'T FATHOM PELE

There's a mystic
river field where
the dewberries play
and the dewberries
don't like to be stepped on
sometimes little red and little blue
leave the ivy embrace of
mother willow
but more often than not
they'd rather say sleeping
peace-raging pele; of the
many-name faeries, plays
a solitary whisper to the
unhearing rain
rock candy, caught pele's eye
playing with
spiders on their spinning
webs; in all a-tangle, she can't
fathom pele
little ripples in a glassy pond
silver fishies turn up
their noses and go by
pele of the many-name
faeries is feeling rather
transluscent
rock candy, ever iridescent
shines out pele's tears

but that's what I get for walking
