Mt. BANAHAW one of the mystic mountain in the Philippines. This is our first major climb and second climb when Treksierra was formed. We are all excited because we have a news that this is the one of the most beautiful climbing destination here in the southern Luzon area. Our team take a route via San Pablo city proper, taking a PUJ going to Dolores Quezon. Because this is our first climb in Mt.Banahaw we have no idea were here in Dolores the jump of point. Actually we have a print out itinerary courtesy of MMS but our print out was lost (Its my fault sorry tao lang po). But thats not a big problem in our group because we have a human compass in our member his name Danny. Actually Danny is the second timer here in Mt. Banahaw and he is our official starter ( Bilib ako talaga kay Baks Danny mabilis mag isip).
Any way when we arrive in Kinabuhayan, Bgy.Dolores Quezon we
start to register first at the barangay hall, after we register we
pray first before the climb climb. our friend Frank has an
idea to prevent lost he suggest sticking an orange litmus paper into trees
along the trai.
( Yan si BaksFrank sigurista ). after 30 minutes of trekking we have arrive
at Cristalino Falls( Pahinga muna siempre sabay picture.. picture�) at the
right side of the falls the 90 degree slope rock the shortest way going to
kweba ng dios ama. Kweba ng Dios Ama.Kweba ng Dios Ama is one of the shrines
here in Mt. Banahaw build by some pilgrims. After we eat our lunch and
some picture taking we start the trek again.

fter we left the Kweba ng Dios Ama the next place we arrive is the mossy
forest of this mountain. ( Alam nyo ba na ito ang walang katapusang akyat
halos mangiyak ngiyak na yung iba samin kasi tong si Baks Danny tinatanong
naming kung malapit na sabi nya 30 minutes na lang kaso oras na ang
binibilang wala parin yun peak.. grabe sa totoo lang medyo nahiurapan kami
dito kasi daming paahon. Ito pa ang nakakatawa sa grupo pag nakakakita ng
clearing yan nag mamadali na sa pag akyat unahan ang mga bakulaw sa pag akyat
pero pagdating sa clearing di papala yun ang peak) after a few hours of
trekking at last we finally reach the the peak of Mt. Banahaw. The first
peak we reach is called the Unang dungaw . Unang dungaw is one of the three
station of the cross here in the Mt. Banahaw.( May mga kwento ang ilang mga
mountaineer na nakarating dito tungkol kay Buloy. Si Buloy daw ay isang
mountaineer din na nakaakyat dito sa Mt. Banahaw dahil sa sobrang ganda ng
view dito, na excite daw siya ng makita nya yun makapal na ulap na paparating
ay tumalon siya sa akala niya na makakatungtong siya sa ulap. Marami rin na
nag sasabi na ang kata ng sikat na banda na BULOY ng Parokya ni Edgar ay
hango sa kasaysayan ni buloy pero wala paring makakapag sabi kung ang kwento
ni Buloy ay totoo o haka haka lang.)
After we explore the whole Unang dungaw we fix our tent.and we prepare
our dinner. We are not alone here in fact there are another group of
mountaineer taking their food beside our campsite. Around 7 pm at the evening
our tent are ready and we start our dinner. After the dinner we are now ready
for stargazing and tell our own story about love life love life at love life
uli hanggang sa abutan kami ng antok..
We wake up around 4 a.m. because we wait for the sunset� while waiting we start
to prepare our breakfast pritong "EKLOG" este pritong itlog pala. And taking

It so cold here so we need to take our jacket. After our breakfast we clean
our camp and ready for break camp because we plan to go down at 10 a.m. We
plan go down at the other trail going to Ikatlong tangke and Kapatagan..
After we reach the brgy hall we go to the paliguan area. And plan to take our
meryenda destination MC DONALDS at San Pablo City.. after we eat uwian na..
