Dragon Shaman Chronicles
Series Overview:
The worlds of Spirit and Man many have long thought to be completely separated.  Stories of mysterious disappearances have been written off as mere fantasy since the Age of Reason dawned.

Others have always known that this limited view is wrong, and have lived their lives as well as they could.  Some have it easier than others though, and some families have never been able to fully be part of either.

The O'Drake clan is one of these.

The MountainChild family has also lived in a world steeped with mysticism, slipping between the worlds with ease and part of them both.

What happens when these families unite?  A set of eight books will follow one member of the family to find out.

Dragon Shaman
Book One: Taming the Blowing Wind

Long ago an Irish Priestess was defiled, and the dragon that had become her protector laid a terrible curse upon the children of the man responsible.  Too late he realized that his beloved had already conceived, and so not only was a cursed child brought into his keeping, but his own curse could not be broken until certain terms were met to mend the wrong.

Time passes through the generations, and one half of the cure is born in a distant land, only to suffer the same fate as all the other women of the O’Drake clan.  But something is different about this cycle.  Having been reborn into two separate yet concurrent incarnations, Drake has the power to set things right and correct two wrongs.  A voice calls a young woman to cross the Pacific into yet another land.

Every girl yearns for adventure, romance and magic in their lives. BlowingWind had all of these and lost them, just as she was starting on what she thought would be the greatest adventure of her life. Now, she is being called out by the forces of life and undertaking the journey into adulthood alone. However, journeys always seem to entail healing, and a quest to find her lost love turns into something even greater.

Take Ryu is a boisterous magma ryu trapped for five years beneath Mt. Fuji for the crime of becoming too engrossed in human affairs. Upon the end of his imprisonment he emerges to find a strange and undefended shaman woman within his territory. Falling prey once more to his kind heart he too is swept up in the threads of a destiny that neither human nor dragon could have ever believed.

A story of dragons, healing, cultural mixing, love, and the pursuit of the Soul and Self, this is only the first book in the adventures of a very unlikely couple.  Watch for “Dragon Shaman: The Smoky Mirror” next!

Dragon Shaman
Book Two: The Smoky Mirror

BlowingWind, though still yearning for her lost love, must move on as painful as it is.  Still following the quest she was called upon, she must now look inside herself for the strength to find out who she really is.  With an impending move to Hokkaido, a rambunctious love-struck young dragon, a Kitsune that is still roped into helping test her, and two Tengu that are still applying her tests, which world is more important?  What will she see when looking into her obsidian mirror?
