Dragon and human can't be involve with each other. Rain and Chin Kar Lok the adopted children of Benny's mom. During the disaster of a dragon and human's match of many years ago, Benny's dad died. While running away, Rain and her brother was lost with her dad(who is a dragon slayer).

18 years later, Rain, Benny, and Kar Lok grew up. Benny is a doctor. Kar Lok is a kung fu master for the town's people. Rain just helped her brothers out. Then Benny met Fennie, who is a dragon, but he didn't know it. And they felt in love. At the same time, Nicola, dressed as a boy and came to the twon. She met Benny and felt for him.

Rain met Michael at the Nguyet Lao's stone(the old fairy who match up humans). The town people there believed that if you closed your eyes and turn around in circle, the first person whome you set eyes upon will be your future husband. To her luck, the first person she saw was Michael. Rain was disgusted at Michael at first.

Michael was a horrible royal. He is sort of like a pervert in a way. (I don't know why, but he really did attracted me right the minute I laid eyes on him. Weird!!!!) On the other hand, Rain, whom ever marry her will die or accidents will happened to them. Michael was afraid of her for that.

Things happened and Michael was forced to marry Rain by the king. He treated Rain horribly at first because she wasn't a beauty, and anyone marrying her will die. Rain learned to love Michael and treated him well. One day, while leaving his manson to get away from Rain. Michael saw a group of girls, then pop out a man with a basket of pears. He asked Michael to buy some pears from him. Before Michael left, the old man's wife came. Michael, then got nosy and asked how could the couple be so romantic even at old age? The man then smile and gave him a speech on how a person prayed a hundred years just to met the other and 1000 years to marry each other.

Michael then realized what a jerk he had been to Rain. He went back to his manson and looked for Rain. Rain while Michael left started to drink some wine. Michael cameback, but couldn't see Rain anywhere. He panicked. Then near the well in the yard, he saw the bell connected to the foot-lace that he gave Rain so whenever he hears the sound, he'll find his way away from Rain. He thought Rain had committed suicide. Michael intended to climb the well to find Rain, but Rain pop out. Michael almost felt, but Rain caught him in time. Sadly, Michael tripped and hit his head.

Michael then spitted out blood and died. Rain cried and gave Michael his last kiss. During the kiss, a pearl that Fennie gave Rain which she had swallowed was passed on to Michael. Michael woke up and told Rain how much of a jerk he was and he regret what he did to her in the past. Well, as you might have guess, they lived happily ever after.
