Marriage

Perched on his hand,
A guard against death,
It reminds us of life.

From the beginning,
Nature rules.
Two sides of life
Of joy and hate,
Go hand in hand.
A price is paid,
For everything,
And work must be done.
Calm and gentle,
All is well,
Until the lion strikes
And nature rules once more.

Perched on his hand,
This closed ring,
Is Achilles's wedding band.
