Well 60 lbs felt like a feather after tuesdays debacle...for all of about 1/2 mile i suppose. then it was back to the same old same old. This ruck march was *tiring*. Doing PT this morning, working all day, THEN moving out for 8 miles...yeah that's different. I got on the stair climber at the gym and I couldn't do any more than fifty flights at the middle setting (i don't do patterns of hills or anything...i just get on and continue at an incline) before I had to stop for a couple minutes. Even after that I couldn't do any more than another fifty flights. I *wanted* to do twice that but I was pushing my limits as it was. At least now I have a goal to shoot for. Before today I hadn't been beaten myself down badly enough to miss my target. |
