Tori Amos--To Venus and Back (Orbiting)

So I caught an earlier flight.  Roth Roffy left me at the airport at about 0830...just in time for the 0900 flight.  Connecting in Detroit I'll need to call home to let dad know...hopefully he won't have a problem picking me up a couple hours early...if he does, oh well.  I'd rather spend the hours holed up at SFO than RDU...because at least it's home there...

Of course, Murphy's Law was in effect this morning.  I was up until about 0230 and woke up when Dave hit the lights at 0515 (he didn't know till later that he was replaced on Chute Detail...).  Grrr.  Rolled out of bed to get dressed after checkign my email.  Kevin got the Tori show last night in Dallas...FINALLY got to hear "Thank You"...I'm so glad for him.  So that was good at least.  Jennifer Franklin's an online pal that was there and they were talking...so I'm glad to be able to report I have a lead on that for her.  Some more good news,  Jen will be in Berkley for this wknd so we might meet up for lunch.

Went to sign out on Leave at the Staff Duty Desk...where I discovered, to my dismay, my Leave form had gone AWOL.  Luckily, I've already learned one vital piece of information about the military...make one, two, or twenty copies of EVERYTHING.  This was no exception.  So, running out to my car to grab my photocopy, I was good to go.  Thank goodness.  I can't begin to imagine what I would have been liable to do had I missed my flight...

Of course dave let me know last night he couldn't pick me up next thursday because he would be leaving for PA b4 I got in...thanks for the last minute note roomie...But Dan is able to nab me up luckily.  He'll be leaving for FL the next morning however...so I'll be all alone for columbus day weekend...Hopefully I'll have plenty of tapes to make.
