I meant to upload something last night...but my modem, earthlink, and my phone line were all against me.  Well, at least now my modem and earthlink are back on my side...but that pesky phone line...the tech is coming out tomorrow to look at it.

Smiley Pix.  Per request, here are a few pictures where I am actually smiling and not so demented looking...my picture from the Empire State a few weeks ago had a few people concerned...Christa was one and I actually ran into each other on ICQ today, so we got a brief chance to catch up...I was thinking abotu her earlier today as I was typing up old entries from march 99 at work--it was a farely uneventfull day...i had two thigns to do all day--consult with the JAG CPT attorney about an article 15, and drop off some documents at A Co...that was *it*.

Finally picked up a copy of Linux today.  I bought the Caldera Package at Best Buy...along with some blank CDRs...Rich is getting a burner and is gunna make me copies of such things like Civilization II, Adobe Photoshop, etc...wahoo!  Rich is on a jump for tomorrow. Most of everyone else is having payroll activities tomorrow--a couple classes in the morning then release for the rest of the day (to pay bills, etc.)  I'm waiting for the phone guy and trying to straighten out my finances with my bank...i seem to be short a couple hundred dollars and i can't account for that money...I am probably manifested for a jump on Tuesday...don't know what kind of jmp yet, only that TOT is 1900...twilight (almost) jump...admin, tactical, mass exit...who knows at this point...

I've been having odd dreams as of late...yesterday morning we I was awoken by a phone call at about 2AM--shocked me out a dream where I had gone back to junoir high...it was "my" junior high in the dream, although it was nothing like Antioch Jr High--all indoors with these odd hallways with rooms that I dreaded having to take classes in again--in the dream I felt these intense memories of joy at never having to take a class in those narrow, hot, cramped & confined rooms again...One really odd feature of the dream was, that although I could see myself as older, taller, more mature than the other students, I was not given a second look by the other students...like I fit in perfectly...even more, I *felt* like I fit in...and actually had my eye on one girl in particular, a blond haired, blue eyed girl...remarkably like the checkout girl at Best Buy today...if I'd been about five years younger, I would have taken that as a sign to ask the girl at Berst Buy out...

Later in the day yesterday, I fell asleep napping and had anotehr odd dream...I was in the harness shed donning my chute when someon noticed a strap missing on my reseve...I looked it over and realized I had no actual parachute in there...only a bundle of fabric that looked like a harness pack for a normal parachute...turns out I wasn't the only one with such a thing...but then I woke up for something I don't remember...

Went out to lunch at China Wok with Dan yesterday...we talked about various things...mainly joking around.  He asked me why i didn't find Katie attractive, so I ran through what I could w/o having a picture to consult with...I shan't go into details, he had to press me to do it for him...

Later that day it finally hit me why he's so attracted to her...I was watching VH1 and they had the 100 greatest women in music on...I saw Jewel, dan's great love...and realized just how much Katie's face resembles Jewel's...

Went into the Counseling Office on post for Methodist College.  CPT Mullings recommended the college to me for my degree--I talked with them about finishing my english degree and they set me up with photocopies of their class descriptions.  I tried to fax them to HSU but I don't know what it is...I can never get the fax machine in the Re-Enlistment office to go through...

Planning on a cookout Saturday at Sergeant Krause's home...Dan, Joe, Dave, Rich, Matt Griffen (a cook down the hall) and who knows a few others might show up...byom, byob...
I saw a poster at BEst Buy that the Barenaked Ladies are on pay per view Saturday too...
