I actually did write an entry back on the 17th, when ended up staying awake all night, then going to work the next day...wasn't so bad actually. Made me feel as if this phenomonum of age isn't wearing me down at a scant 23 years...of course we hardly did anything Tuesday and I had plenty of time to nap...Post Cleanup all week, yeah big fun...but it's really not so bad. Everyone's joking around and laughing and having a gaggle of fun whenever possible. The work isn't hard, it just has to be done.
My computer has been through many reboots and reformats already. I'm at that stage where Iknow what I want to do with all these program and documents and files...but everytime I mess with something kinda important, the computer gets pissed at me...so I dunno...but I think I got everything worked out right now. I'm sure the thing hates it that I use Netscape for my default browser and MS outlook for my default eamil program though. I'd like to use Netscape Messenger, but it doesn't allow easy access to the address book at all times...so pittu-e.
I have problems going from ICQ to these normal typing programs...just when you get used to that key clicking...sending messages with Alex, my cuz in Austarlia. Been so long since we've talked and now it's natural as day to be on with him...
My next door neighbor, Specialist Perez, is kinda cute,and seems nice...unfortunetly she was already given an official Reprimand (a GOMAR) or a DWI...and she's only 20!! So my boss gave me a blunt "stay away from her" message...theres the army for ya, always getting in the way of something...
Alex just sent me a recent phot...he looks good, about as I remember him...
Went out Saturday with Dan and Nadine and some of Nadine's friends, Valerie (crazed over horny, scary femal MP), Keith, Manuel, Cameron (a gal who I'd met in AIT), another guy I don't recall the name of, and Myself. We went to Ruby Tuesdays for dinner and a few drinks, then a movie (Mallrats) at Nadines...ended up driving dan and myself home in her jeep cuz there was a space issue in the cars, and I was sober...she got it sunday.
I've been spending a lot of time on this computer/online trying to get my page up and running. I got a scanner and scanned about 10 pictures to put up with it...but of course those are gone due to the last crash so i got to do them over again..I got plenty more though too so...
Life right now is good. I'm all settled in and adjusted to the daily routine. Have made friends...Spec. M is gonna give me Photoshop (!)
(Soundgarden)...Tori and Alannis are touring together soon and I may hit one or two or three dates...Antioch, TN; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC...the former two are on the wknd so it's a possible road trip, and I really could use some good live music...and the first name is too big a coencidence I think...
