Got back from FTX yesterday morn. It was pretty much a joke, though setting up ambushes with TSB was fun. Soldiers walked w/in 3 feet of me w/o even knowing I was there. One almost even stepped on me! It rained the last day – making the 3 mile march fun… Kennedy got his 95% -- had to redo the typing test a few times. Took the admin sep test Monday…
CI was a joke – DS Whitley had us go outside in reglaed Class B’s with our M40’s (which he never even looked at, let alone inspected), looked us all up & down – asked a couple questions & made us recite parts of the soldier’s creed…I got through everything perfect—no gigs on my uniform or my recitation. There was no locker or TA50 or Class A’s or anything – been kickin’ it all morning. It was really quite a relief after all the frantic preperations, boot shining, sock rolling, TA50 cleaning, locker prepping, studying for commander questions, etc etc.
Stocker’s husband is back up from FL. He got here yesterday afternoon.
About 60 new ppl just came in today – no more FG every other day or so it seems – maybe even be lucky enboiugh to not have duty over pass…We’ll see.
Geranamo – Still no word on Airborne – Looks bad now I guess…
Just waiting for everything now – all my tasks here except for outprocessing are completed. My Double Overnight awaits, graduation awaits, Ft Hood & 1st Cav awaits – maybe deployed to Macedonia or Kosovo if I’m lucky…
Had a really good CR run this morning – got me pumped
up…
