After returning to sleep from FG last night at 0300, I had an odd dream...I was at Ft Bragg and I ran into one of the guys that was leaving here as I get in -- the reserve guy whose unit got activated & sent to Bosnia -- he's just gotten outta the field and recognized me...kinda strange why I'd dream of him...maybe it was apprehension about NBC training -- but Korea requires no additional NBC training...It was just odd.
Got a 95 on my processing charge sheet for preferral test...avg at 96% even.
PT test is soon -- off post tomorrow. Wrote another letter to Christa today -- probably gunna write one to Angerhauser sometime soon as well -- he's back at Long Island drinking beer & eating pizza right now, the dick...
Sold my gameboy to Shivers w/ ganmes for $40.00 just now. I never use it & the $$ helps out this wknd...I've got $55 in cahs now.
Challenged DS Teope to chess today -- won -- should have bet my pass for an upgrade to overnight after all. Oh well. At least I impressed him just that much more...Dear lord but he was getting hot during that game. He dropped me twice for it -- for @ 5 seconds each. He was overconfident, but it was a good game at 45 minutes, with neither side making any really serious blunders. The next game is the real test, and I know he'll want a rematch. I wouldn't put it past him to study up in preperation...of course that may be a bit presumptious of me, but I know he won't want to lose again.
So far the tentative plan is 1800, 151, & Absolut (or Skyy) & pizza at a hotel @ 1630...kinko's perhaps?
