02.21.99 -- Hangin' w/ Toolin

Missing dayz...Upgrade to On Post Pass. Meals w/ Anderson & Toolin & Seikel -- Spades also. I am still enamored of Seikle & Anderson, the latter has gorgeous eyes, the former the adorable accent of a Midwesterner gone city that reveals itself at odd occasions & a trusting face capable of brilliant expression (yet nothign on Christa -- still Seikel's prettier than Christa, so...)

More CD's -- Eagles greatest, Who greatest, Enya best of...a trilogy of awesome music...Shlitz Malt Liquor at Ivy w/ Tooli(a)n (Greg would love the extra "a" I accidentally just dropped into his name...). Quantity/Quality - First time ever -- need for buzz, long line dictations...Anderson was made glad by a gift I brough her back...

Seikel leaves soon for Korea -- Anderson for Home. There's a good possibility I will hit Korea as well. Although I've heard living conditions suck hard core -- I'd *like* to go overseas, while Germany would offer a more artistic enjoyment & travel in Europe, Korea would be an experience I never thought to have, plus so much more $$$ !! (and the possibility of seeing Seikel again.)

This weekend, one year ago, was spent in Maui -- such a lifetime away. I didn't really think, then, I'd have a one year anniversary of that time of joy, sun, camaraderie...Jen...

Still, the military is a place for me. Perhaps it's due to IET, but it seems more a normal life than I imagined. Perhaps permanent party will dissuade me of such comfort, or on the flip-side -- make it more coosh. Time will tell.

SO many ppl leaving Friday -- this recent Lima class Toolin, Campos, Cline, Szezwek...my room will be filled back up w/ Newbies fresh from BCT & there will be new stories to be exchanged. The military life is indeed a transient one -- what I've always felt pulled too -- that innate desire to "just leave" I've felt so often -- it means this constant changing of faces, more so than the scenery.
