Today -- got detail for it -- meant unpacking ammo, setting up/tearing down the classroom at 1/40, loading/unloading weapons -- eating MRE's inside (technically a no-no. grilled chicken patty meal).  Also meant firing up the extra M60 rounds in addition to the allotted 50...gugga gugga gugga...fired off @ 35 rounds staright that 2nd time, bad ass.  9mm tracer rounds in the AT4s -- those were fun too.  No M230, they forgot to get the ammo apparently...bummer, I was looking forward to those.  Also missed the M18A1 Claymore demo due to detail...Got to tear down the m60s though for cleaning...Very nifty cool...but sobering to reflect on how all those small parts come together to kill at such a magnitude...the minds that fitted such a jigsaw puzzle from nothing...

Cook & Chappel had detail also...a few words on Cook:  From Santa Cruz/ of SF as of late...several/(mostly) homosexual roomates/friends, and obvioulsy a nonchalant acceptance of homosexuals -- unlike ppl like Ford, Crouch, Roberds, etc. etc. who are disgusted.  It's one reason Cook & I get along, we both come from CA & share that attitude.  Chappel actually said today that if he didn't know better, he'd say Cook had a "thing" for me, & that he has some serious unresolved issues...I'd hate for that to be the case, since I'm not a homosexual & have no such tendencies...just don't place that restriction on others...

I was given FG & CQ following FG last night...woke up both PG & APG, rather annoyed at the oversite...especially since it woulda been my day began at 0230...but it got worked out...Crouch was next in alphabetical order & he was assigned my CQ...

Angerhauser shot a 28 on the practice range today...good show.  Propud of him, esp. since he'd been having problems shooting b4 the hospital stay...
