11.21.98 (From Notebook)

Day 2 grouping/zeroing.  In my foxhole right now -- awaiting all clear to see how my 3rd 3 rnd clip went...
All I can see is the sky -- but it's a gorgeous shade of blue...I think maybe I'm not takign enough time between shots, seem to be done earlier than most...I'm trying, can't really seem to discern a diff. but something must be changing somewhere *sigh*

"I've been here, Silent all these years" Sullen, next to me over in lane 35, keeps ejecting shells into my foxhole.  There's two in here now...I was ejecting rounds into my coaches (Roberds) helmet yesterday...I think I am getting better, despite DS Hurtado's admonishing...Been firing about 1 1/4 hour...have 5 1/2 left, if necessary...Finally qualified -- biggest problem was my follow through I think...
