~*~ Chapter 3: Sayonara, So Long ~*~

"Headache" Subaru grumbled, falling off of his couch as he tried to sit up. It occurred to him, now that he was sitting on the floor beside the couch, that he had been covered in a blanket, now twisted between his legs, which had caused him to maneuver at a strange angle, ultimately putting him on the floor while he tried to sit up.

Subaru put a hand to his forehead, feeling that he had a slight fever and that the rest of his skin was strangely cold. He glanced at the coffee table, seeing two glasses, an empty bottle of champagne, a glass of water with half-melted ice, and a note with his name scribbled at the top.

What happened last night?

Subaru picked up the note, now comfortably situated on the floor. He laid his head back on the ground and looked up at the note, his eyes crossing a little. "Damnit" Subaru would never, ever, let Seishirou know it, but he had to wear reading glasses. If the older man knew, Subaru would never hear the end of the teasing.

Adjusting the distance of the paper for a few minutes, Subaru finally settled it in such away that he could make out the meticulous handwriting. It was unquestionable who had written the note, even before Subaru read it. Just knowing Seishirou had been there when he was drunk was enough to make Subaru groan. Another unfortunate thing about him was he couldnt hold his alcohol. Subaru really was never going to hear the end of the teasing.

Subaru-kun:

Please drink some water. By now, doubtless, its mid-afternoon and you have a hangover. Dont glare at the paper like that. I cant see you, and the paper didnt do anything wrong.

Subaru blushed, looking away from the piece of paper in his hands. It was actually a funny thing to say, Subaru knew, but he was irritated, because Subaru had, in fact, been glaring daggers at the piece of paper. There was something very unfunny about the kind of friend who knows you so well that can predict your reactions and be right every time.

Anyway, I called work when I woke up this morning and told them you wouldnt be in until later this afternoon. Knowing our director, though, you should try to get to work by three, or so. He probably will think youre dead if it takes you any longer than that.

Kamui-kun called for you this morning. You may want to have a talk with him at some point today. I think he was a little upset when I answered your phone at half past nine. Especially because I told him you couldnt come to the phone because you were passed out drunk on my lap.

Again, the glaring, Subaru-kun. I only told him the truth.

This time, Subaru did smile. Seishirou was such a jerk, sometimes. Subaru knew just how to get back at him, though.

I love you, Subaru-kun. Remember, today is the first of 365 days for me to win you over. Ill see you at work.

The note wasnt signed. Subaru sighed, placing the paper back by the two empty glasses and the empty bottle, and picked up the glass of water. He took a drink, which made his head ache vaguely for a moment, but as soon as he had some water, he was sure he was thirsty. Subaru sighed heavily again, carefully picking himself off the floor, and sat back on the couch. From there, he could see the clock on top of the television.

It was half past one in the afternoon. Subaru blinked once, and then checked again to make sure the time was right. He didnt have long to shower and get to work, if he wanted to get some foodwhich he didand have some time to recuperate from the mild, but still existent hangover. Subaru made a face and stood, this time with not problems with the blanket.

"Dont leave if you leave, Ill be alone."

Subaru really hoped to every God he could name that he hadnt actually said that. But, he had the sinking suspicion that he had. Subaru sank back into the couch, putting his head between his knees. As if things couldnt get any worse.

The phone rang. Subaru hadnt noticed that it was sitting beside the table on the floor. He could only assume that was Seishirous doing. After a pause to look at the phone, and curse how loud he had the ring set, Subaru picked it up on the third ring. "Hai. Moshi moshi."

"Subaru! Sakurazuka-san said you werent feeling well. I was really worried. Something about you getting drunk" Kamuis voice was high with tension. It was hard to tell if he was worried for Subarus health or for Seishirou being with Subaru when he was drunk.

"Im alive, Kamui. You dont have to worry." Subaru felt himself relax a little. He hadnt even realized he was tense until he felt himself sink into the couch more. "Are you on your lunch break?"

"Yeah." Kamui then said something aside to someone. It sounded like Fuuma. "Sakurazuka-san and Fuuma are going to go get food for everyone. They just asked if you wanted something."

"Come pick me up, Kamui. We can have a lunch date together instead." Subaru suggested, glancing down at his attire. First, he really had to change. And shower. At least he had half an hour before Kamui could get there. "We missed at date last night, after all."

"Id like that. Besides, if you really are hung over, you probably shouldnt drive." Kamui paused again, listening to someone at the studio with him. "Sakurazuka-san asked me to ask you if he gets a lunch date every time you dont spend the night with him." Kamui sounded very unamused.

Subaru just laughed. "Hes an idiot. Please dont let him get to you, Kamui." Subaru was genuinely smiling now. Somewhere, deep down, it concerned him that he was smiling for Seishirou, not Kamui. But, on the surface, he didnt choose to recognize that fact. "Anyway, I need to shower and get dressed, so I should go. Do you want me to meet you downstairs?"

"Ive got a key," Kamui replied. "See you soon."

"Okay. Drive carefully." Subaru was standing again, so he could put the cordless phone back on the charger. The motion reminded him once again of his hangover in a most unfortunate way as his stomach did a little flip. Yes, he had been an idiot and he had not eaten. Nor had he hydrated. Every part of this hangover was his fault, but he would really like to blame Seishirou.

"I love you," Kamui said almost absently. Just then, Subaru lost his footing and landed flat on his face in the carpet with and ungraceful sounding wail and a loud crash. He sat there silently for a moment, blinking at the carpet from much closer, and finally propped himself up on one elbow. "Um Subaru? Are you okay?"

"Its nothing. I just fell. Ill see you soon." Subaru twisted so he could sit up and finally ended up looking between his feet, half leaned forward.

"Okay. Bye, Subaru."

"Bye." Subaru hit the "off" button, and immediately put a hand to his mouth. His eyes were wide, and he was trembling a little. Maybe Kamui didnt realize it, but he had just confessed love to Subaru for the first time. And Subaru, for his part, had managed to evade answering.

Seishirou had told Subaru he loved him a million times. Each time was as easily confessed as the last. Hokuto, his late parents, and his grandmother had all easily confessed love so easily. Kakyou, even, had on one occasion told Subaru he loved him as a brother. So, why was the idea so hard for Subaru to get his mind around? It wasnt as though anyone had ever or would ever reject him except Seishirou.

And Seishirou had rejected him on many occasions.

"Seishirou-san I think I might be falling for you but I dont know."

"You would know, Subaru-kun. Besides, the bet has only been going for three months."

"Can can I kiss you? I think that might help me clear my thoughts."

"No, Subaru-kun. That will help you decide if you want me physically. As wonderful as sex is, I really am more interested in you loving me."

Now, Subaru couldnt really figure out why that particular memory had popped to mind, but there were a million instances when Seishirou had turned him down, even when it was to Seishirous disadvantage. Seishirou had always wanted Subaru to love him, but he was concerned, above all else, that Subaru was comfortable and happy. He always was looking out for Subarus best interests.

Was that the true meaning of love? Was loving someone the power of giving everything for that one person just because you want them to be happy? If that was the case, did Subaru "love" Kamui?

Subaru shook his head, standing much more gracefully than the previous times, and made his way to his bedroom to grab a change of clothes and a towel. On his dresser was a framed picture of Hokuto, Seishirou, and himself from the last few days of the filming of "Tokyo Babylon". Seishirou had his arms around Subaru from behind, and Hokuto was laughing evilly beside them. Subaru was blushing, looking like he wanted to sink through the ground to get away from the others

. There were other framed pictures too, of course; a few of his family, his sister with Kakyou, and a couple others with Seishirou in them. One of the pictures was Hokutos pride and joyit was from the night that Seishirou had given her a camera for Christmas the night that Hokuto learned she had the talent, the skill, and the desire to become a photographer.

"Seishirou-san where did you get that mistletoe?"

"Your sister, of course."

"You have to kiss for the picture, Subaru!"

"HoHokuto-chan!"

"Our first real kiss, Subaru-kun!"

"I hate you both."

It really was a cute picture. Subaru was half on top of Seishirou, having just been dragged onto the older mans lap. Seishirou was holding Subaru around the waist with one arm, and holding the mistletoe above their heads with the other hand. Subaru was wearing an over-sized sweater Hokuto gave him for Christmas, making him look much smaller than he actually was, giving him the appearance of a child compared to Seishirou well, except for the fact that they were kissing.

All this and there wasnt a single picture of Kamui. Kamui, who had just confessed that he loved Subaru, didnt appear in his photo diary on his dresser unlike all the other people who loved Subaru. The other people Subaru loved?

No, not Seishirou.

Subaru shook his head, clearing his thoughts, and went to the bathroom. After all that thinking, he only had fifteen minutes to get ready, and hell if he was going to be late again. Kamui was patient. Kamui would wait for him. Kamui loved him.

Would Subaru wait for Kamui?

~*~

The next month and a half passed fairly quickly. It was now almost time for the show to go on air, Christmas was around the corner, and everywhere, there were already preparations being made for New Years Eve. In this busy time of year, it was almost impossible to sit down for a quiet cup of coffee in any coffee shop in Tokyo.

"Sei-chan!" Upon spotting the actor, Hokuto darted across the coffee shop, leaving a rather reluctant Kakyou to wheel his way over in her wake, and plopped down in the chair across from Seishirou. "O~hai~yo!" Hokuto giggled, leaning forward on her elbows. Seishirou, stunned more than anything else, looked at her oddly for a long moment before laughing.

"Its hardly morning, Hokuto-chan. Its almost two in the afternoon." Seishirou motioned over a waiter as Kakyou joined them at the table. He looked somewhat cross. "Its good to see you are well, Kakyou-san. We should really spend more time together."

"Save it," Kakyou said pleasantly, despite his words. "Subaru isnt with us." The mans comment made Seishirou laugh freely, and Hokuto scold her husband for his rudeness. The moment was broken up by the waiter who took drink orders from the two newcomers, and then scrambled off to serve the next table.

"So, why did you want to see me today, Hokuto-chan?" Seishirou wondered over his mug. He had his bright eyes focused right on her. Hokuto, as was almost to be expected, had a mischievous glow to her eyes, and was smiling pleasantly at Seishirou.

"Its time we told Subaru and Kakyou about... us, Sei-chan. I thought you would prefer a practice run with Kakyou before we went on to my brother." Seishirou, for his part, managed not to spit out his coffee all over Hokutoa small miracle in and of itself. Hokuto found this very amusing, while Kakyou looked very confused.

"What do you mean, Hokuto?" Kakyou took one of his wifes hands, namely the one with the wedding ring, and looked into her eyes. "Are you and Seishirou having an affair?"

This time, Seishirou did spit out his coffee, but it was back into the muga small improvement. "No, Kakyou-san. I think she means that we used to date." Kakyou raised his eyes at that. "Hokuto-chan and I were a couple... which is actually the whole reason why I wrote Tokyo Babylon... at first. Originally, the female twin is the one who is the clan head. But, then she told me about her brother, and I got to thinking how much more interesting a romance between a character like him and the Sakurazukamori would be."

Hokuto nodded sagely. "Sei-chan and I broke up just after he met Subaru. Upon meeting my brother, he said that he just couldnt be with me, because he would always see Subaru in me, and wish that I was the other twin." Kakyou made an angry-sounding growl low in his throat, but Hokuto waved of her husbands natural desire to protect his wifes best interests. "I didnt mind. I had just met you, after all, Kyou-chan. What was bad about it was that Subaru, who didnt know, and still doesnt know, that we were dating got the gist that Seishirou had broken my heart because I had a crush on him, or something, and instantly went on the defensive when it came to Sei-chan."

Seishirou looked thoughtful for a moment. "He is probably not too keen on loving me, at least partially, because hes thinking I will seduce him and then dump him in the street. Ive refused him many times, especially when we were younger, and that probably just solidified what he feels about me."

Kakyou was now blushinghard. "In that case, I have a confession to make as well..."

"Youre having an affair with Sei-chan?" Hokuto guessed. This won her a light laugh from Kakyou, and a wink from Seishirou.

"Um... no. When I... before we met, I had a crush on you for a long time. But, I got it in my head that I couldnt have you, so I...." Kakyou, who was still blushing, now began to laugh as well. "I went for the next best thing. Subaru and I dated for almost a year before he finally broke it up because the relationship wasnt going anywhere." Hokuto and Seishirou burst into laughter at Kakyous confession. The disabled man looked like he wanted, more than anything else, to just sink into his wheelchair to hide.

"I would never have guessed. Im sure you made a lovely couple." Seishirou gave Hokuto a fond smile, and she looked away. It was strange when someone went quickly between amused and serious, but when it was Hokuto, it was just plain frightening. "Hokuto-chan, whats wrong?"

"Um... Sei-chan, theres something else I should tell you. Kamui... hes been..." Hokuto bit her lip, finally looking up at Seishirou with an apologetic smile. "Kamui is planning on moving in with Subaru."

"WHAT?!" Seishirou jumped out of his chair in surprise. "But... theyve only been together for a few months!" Noticing the fact that he was getting some really strange looks from other coffee shop patrons, Seishirou sunk back into his seat and lowered his voice. "Theyre moving in together?"

"Yeah. Kamui and Subaru have been... getting more intimate recently, so Kamui hardly ever goes home after their dates anymore. I think it is just getting pointless to go home at all, now," Kakyou explained, just as the waiter put his chai in front of him.

"What you mean is, theyre having sex, so now Kamui wants to just live with Subaru? Thats not a good reason!" Seishirous voice was quiet, but filled with malice toward a certain actor who starred in his show.

"Kamui loves Subaru," Hokuto said, waving a hand in dismissal.

"What about Subaru-kun?" Seishirou asked, calm enough now to remember the honorrific.

"My brother... he thinks he may love Kamui, too. He isnt sure. You really throw him for a loop, Sei-chan." Hokuto sighed. "Im telling you this because... well, if you really do love my brother, Sei-chan, I think it might be time to let him go. I dont think Subaru can be happy with Kamui until he has closure with you... he respects you, and holds you dear. I think the last thing he wants to do is hurt you any more than he has to in order to be happy with Kamui."

Seishirou hung his head to hide the pain in his eyes. "So why do you think now is the time to tell Subaru-kun about what we had?"

Hokutos hand slammed down on the table, causing glass to rattle and Seishirou to jump. Kakyou made a small noise of surprise, seeing as he had been quite content in just listening and sipping his chai, but he made no comment to his wife, who was now speaking venomously. "Sakurazuka Seishirou, I swear, if you let yourself lose to that brat, Ill kill you! Dont listen to my logical advice! Of course I want you to go win my brother over, Sei-chan! Ive been waiting a decade for you two to hook up!"

Seishirou was blinking at Hokuto, his mouth moving rather like a fishs in his surprise. "You might be able to use the fact that you didnt really break my heart as leverage. It will make it more believable for him when you tell him that you really do love him." Hokuto shook her head as she continued. "I would also suggest having a talk with Kamui. Knock some sense into the kid. Get him the hell away from my brother. Maybe convince him that he should hook up with Monou-kun. I like him."

"Hokuto-chan... I cant believe youre saying this," Seishirou muttered in surprise.

"Neither can I," Kakyou agreed, matching Seishirous tone perfectly.

"Sei-chan, as my friend, I ask you this one favor. Subaru needs you, he just doesnt know it yet. Ill help you out in any way I can, but please do this... for yourself, for me, and for Subaru." Hokuto, in an out-of-character moment, bowed her head to Seishirou pleadingly.

"Ill talk to Kamui-kun sometime soon," Seishirou agreed.

"Youre a crazy bastard, you know that?" Kakyou commented lightly. Seishirou and Hokuto, finally released from the serious moment, both burst into laughter.

~*~

Subaru, in a similar move of idiocy as his sibling, brother-in-law, and costar tried to go to a coffee shop alone in mid-afternoon. It took him forever to get to the front of the line, and naturally, as soon as he did, he was the only patron in the shop. It always worked that way... he would be waiting in line forever just to be the last to get somewhere.

"Sumeragi-san!" A voice said in surprise. Subaru looked up at the woman who was taking his order, and blinked at her. She was beautiful, maybe just short of goddess-like, with long, silky black hair and gold eyes. Honestly, her appearance was strangely similar to Seishirous, only her skin was milkier, her smile brighter, and her long, dark, eyelashes more alluring. Were Subaru attracted to women at all, he would be all over this person in front of him.

"Um... do I know you?" Subaru was standing dumfounded, one hand in his wallet, just staring at the woman taking orders.

"Oh, Im sorry!" The woman laugheda deep sound like a river crashing through a rocky riverbed. It was just as beautiful as everything else about her. "Im Sakurazuka Setsuka. Im sure youve met my brother, Sumeragi-san." After this statement, Subaru immediately started trying to put an age on Setsuka. She looked younger than Subaru, but he guessed from the way she was acting, she was older than she looked. Subaru finally decided she was probably somewhere between twenty and twenty-five.

"Its nice to meet you, Setsuka-san." Subaru gave a small bow.

"Hang on just a second," Setsuka said, pulling off her apron. She went into the back room, and then came back with another employee. "I need a twenty minute break," she was telling him. Then, she came out from behind the counter, grabbed Subaru by one arm, and dragged him over to a table. "So, Im sure youre curious, so go ahead and ask whatever it is youre thinking."

"Okay. Seishirou-san never says anything about his sister. Do you know why?" Subaru leaned his head in his hands, looking quite intently at the woman in front of him.

"Seishirou and I are half siblings. We have different mothers." Setsuka waved a hand in the air as she spoke. "Seishirous mother, Setsuka, died in childbirth. Our father was quite heartbroken after the loss of his wife, so it took him almost ten years to find another wife. When he did, I was born, named for his previous wife. Supposedly, I look exactly like her, but I dont really see it." Setsuka shrugged. "Ill be playing the part of Seishirous mother in Babylon 99, though. If I remember correctly, the previous Sakurazukamori was supposed to look eternally youthful with doll-like beauty. I cant help but think Seishirou wrote the part for me."

Subaru was nodding. "That makes sense. In the show, Seishirou kills his own mother. I guess I should have known that was a metaphor for his real life." Subaru leaned back, crossing his arms over his chest. "I still cant believe Seishirou never told me about you."

"When you were doing Tokyo Babylon, I was still young. So, Seishirou didnt want to introduce us. As I got older, though, Seishirou told me more and more about you, with the hopes that one day, we would become well aquatinted." Setsuka gave Subaru a brilliant smile. "I know what he sees in you, now. Youre polite and friendly. Not to mention, youre very pretty."

Subaru blushed a little. "Coming from you, that sounds a little weird," he commented, scratching the back of his head nervously. "Youre beautiful. I should have known you were related to Seishirou-san just because you look so much like him."

Setsuka reached forward and tapped Subarus nose with her index finger lightly. "Subaru-san, does this mean you think my brothers pretty?"

Subaru tried to say something in his defense, but it all came out in sputters. Setsuka was almost like having a Sakurazuka version of a Hokuto. Subaru began to fear for his life in the upcoming few weeks working with both of them.

~*~

Seishirou and Kamui returned from their respective lunch breaks before Subaru (who was still trapped talking to Setsuka in the coffee shop). So, Seishirou took the opportunity to pull Kamui aside for the "talk" that he had promised to Hokuto. Seishirou led Kamui outside, to a small grassy area under a tree beside the building, and beckoned him to sit down.

"Whats wrong, Sakurazuka-san?" Kamui had his usual nervous air around Seishirou. If anything, it was worse than normal, but that was probably because of the move he was planning on making. Not that Kamui knew that Seishirou had been told. "Is something wrong?"

"No, not exactly." Seishirou smiled pleasantly at Kamui. "I just wanted to ask you a question." Kamui nodded. "How long have you been in love with Subaru-kun?" Kamui started at that, scooting away from Seishirou subconsciously.

"I... I fell in love with him after we dated for a while." Kamui was blushing horribly, looking at his hands. "Of course, it is still one-sided. He seems to want our relationship as much as I do, and the sex... ah, never mind." Kamui shook his head, hiding his face in his hands. "I just... I dont know if he loves me back."

Seishirou smirked, unseen to Kamui. "Okay, I just wanted to make sure you werent going to break my Subaru-kuns heart." Kamui didnt make any move to correct the possessive. "The last thing I want to see is Subaru getting hurt when hes at the happiest place in his life. Hokuto-chan told me you two are about to take a big step... and it looks like there is no backing out after you move in together. This is huge, for Subaru, so hes probably thinking this is forever, if hes asking you to move in." Seishirou was, of course, speaking a whole bunch of half-truths.

Kamuis eyes went unfocused, and he nodded to Seishirous words. He looked up at Seishirou after a long moment, and asked quietly. "When did you fall in love with him?"

Seishirou laughed. "It was love at first sight." He looked at his hands with a small smile. "I dont mean that I fell in love with him because he was cute, though. It was little things, like the way he bowed to a chair he accidentally ran into, or the way he wrung his hands together when he was talking to the director. I fell in love with all the little cute things he does instantly. Though, his appearance was an added bonus." Seishirou turned to Kamui, not surprised to see the younger boy was biting his lip. "You know, Im surprised you are sleeping together."

"Um... why? Weve been together for three months." Kamui made a gesture with his hand, as if to emphasize his point.

"Well, thats simple. Youre both ukes." Kamui made a sputtering noise at Seishirous words. "Subaru is the kind of person who wants to be dominated, both sexually and in a relationship. Im just amazed that he is going against his nature to be with you." Seishirou shrugged, though he was inwardly pleased to see the gears turning in Kamuis head. Seishirou glanced at his watch. "Oh, we should get back. Subaru will be back by now, and Im sure you want to talk to him."

"Oh... yeah," Kamui remained sitting as Seishirou stood. As soon as his back was to Kamui, Seishirou grinned maniacally. He went back into the sound stage feeling very pleased with himself indeed.

~*~

Subaru sat in his dressing room, brushing back his hair when there was a gentle knock at the door. Subaru turned and called, "Come in!" the door opened, to reveal Kamui, and Subaru smiled at him. "Oh, hi Kamui. I didnt know you were back from lunch break. I was told you and Seishirou-san went out somewhere." Subaru turned back to the vanity, musing his hair a little with the brush, trying to get the proper look. "So, whats up?"

Kamui took a seat in a chair that was next to the wardrobe. He remained silent, sitting hunched forward with his hands under his thighs. "Um... Subaru, I wanted to talk about something important." Kamuis words followed a deep silence. Subaru glanced up in the mirror to look at Kamui, but the boy was staring into his lap.

"Kamui, whats wrong?" Subaru turned again to face Kamui. Then, he made a face that fell between amused and annoyed. "Did Seishirou-san do something to you?" Kamui shook his head, leaning forward even more. Only then did Subaru notice that the younger man was crying. "Kamui?" Subaru stood, crossing the room to Kamui, and took the other man into his arms gently. "Kamui, tell me whats wrong."

"I cant do it, Subaru!" Kamui was now sobbing openly on Subarus shoulder. "I cant do this anymore." Subaru blinked at Kamuis words, pushing back Kamui to look him in the eyes. Those violet eyes were so sad, but determined at the same time. "Subaru, I dont want to date you anymore."

"Huh?" Subaru was taken aback by Kamuis words, not to mention hurt. It was surely a vicious way to say that he wanted to break up. Then again, there wasnt a particularly nice way to say it. "Um... Kamui, what brought this about?"

"Im sick of competing!" Kamui raised his voice, tears returning to his eyes. "Even if you dont think so, I will always be competing with Sakurazuka-san!" Kamui was doing everything he could to avoid looking at Subaru. "Hes loved you for so long, I just dont want to be in the middle anymore. I sometimes think that I am the only reason you two arent together now, and I dont want to be that."

"Kamui, that isnt true, and you know it," Subaru attempted, but all it did was win him a fiery look from Kamui.

"Ive been sleeping in your bed, remember? I can see your room just as well as you can. I can see all those pictures you have around the room... how there arent any of me, but plenty with him. Im amazed there are any pictures without him." Kamui scoffed. "I dont understand how you can think you dont love him. Hes all you ever talk about, all you ever think about, Im sure."

Subaru was now getting angry as well. "Youre making some pretty serious accusations and assumptions here, Kamui. "Besides, who are you to say you know what Im thinking at all? You may know me well, but youll never know me as well as...."

"As Seishirou-san?" Kamui interjected, now shouting.

Subaru growled. "I was going to say as I know myself, Kamui." Subaru made the name almost a threat, he put so much malice into saying it. "I dont love Seishirou-san. I could never love Seishirou-san after what he did to my sister... after how many times he turned me down when I thought I was on the verge of forgiving him and moving on!"

Kamui snorted. "In that case, do you love me?" Subaru fell silent, looking away. "Because I love you, Subaru. I love you more than life itself. But, even I cant wait forever, Subaru. Thats the difference between Sakurazuka-san and myself. Hes an idiot, blinded by love. I can at least see that you are a selfish bastard."

Subaru wanted to argue, but he couldnt argue with the truth. He hung his head, resting his face in Kamuis lap. "Im so sorry, Kamui. I really do care about you, and I have enjoyed the time weve spent together, but I dont love you. That doesnt mean I want Seishirou-san more than I want you. So, please, dont hate me for this."

"Its okay, Subaru, I forgive you." Kamui ran his fingers through Subarus hairit was the last time.
