Wow, it's been a long time since I have updated. Anyway, I have redone the site a bit. I was getting tired of what was out there. Nothing much to say except I now have more time since quitting my job. I need resting time.

Moving on, in the past bit I've seen some shows. Actually only one, Anything That Moves by Ann-Marie McDonald. Yes, the same woman who wrote Good Night Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet. She is hilarious. Anything That Moves was just as funny but it is a musical. It's all about Joel the shy florist who falls in love with research scientist Jinny. The catch is that Jinny thinks Joel is gay because of how Joel and his friend Tyrone (played by Juan Choiran) act around each other. Not exactly sexually but still, close enough that she thinks that he's gay. So the show's main thing is that with the main theme being secrets, lying, and relationships in a nutshell. Joel was played by Tim Howar, one of my all time favourite stage/musical actors. The picture is of him on the right there. He's got this amazing powerhouse of a voice that brought the music of this musical alive. Anything That Moves closed June 3 but Tim's going to London to be in Peggy Sue Got Married! Yay and boo! Yay because he's going to be in another show but boo because he won't be in Toronto. Here's to hoping that he will be in the Toronto cast of Peggy Sue Got Married! Yeah, you read right, based on that movie with Nicolas Cage and Kathleen Turner.

Future happiness are about to come when I see the Sound of Music at Stratford. Just the thought of going back will be amazing. The Avon River is so beautiful. Stratford is such a nice quiet and serene place. I can't wait to go back. And let's not forget to mention seeing The Full Monty. I was gaping at the performance they did at the Tony awards. It will be quite the interesting show to see. As for Mamma-Mia!, I can't wait for the cast changes. David Keeley who is Sam will be joining the Broadway cast which means he'll most likely be going to NY in August. Good luck for him! I saw him as Horatio in Hamlet last summer. I am quite interested in seeing who'll they'll put in and take out of this current cast. Fingers crossed. :) Ta-ta until the next time.
