Make your own Kandi

Makeing Kandi is incredibly simple and fun! It's also pretty cheap (compated to prices of other jewelry at least).
All you need to do is buy the beads you want to use and the string. Then start putting the beads on the string til you have a good length of beads. Wrap it around your wrist, if it is long enough cut it to length and tie the ends. If you want you can put a little bit of clear nail polish onto your string to cement it. That's your choice though, I don't do it, and most of my bracelts don't break. Make sure you tie the knot firmly, or you could be made to go through a broken bracelet disaster where your beads go flying everywere, people trip, cats choke, and you lose a cool peice of Kandi.
There are all kinda os beads you can use to make your Kandi. Most people use plain ol' ordinary pony beads (regular roundish with a big whole in the middle and flat the other way) these come in many many colors, such as pastel, neon, bold, glow in the dark, glitter, metalic, and transparent. You can also you shaped beads in any shape you want such as hearts, stars, circles, whatever. Many times people enjoy using alphabeads (letter beads) these come in many shapes, sizes, and colors too. All of the options of pony beads can usually be found in alphabeads too. Some people like to buy bead kits (usually a sectioned off container filled with all differant kinds of beads and strings. This is usually more expensive then buying beads and string seperatly, but you do get a cool container, and often many cool differant beads.
Eventually I will put up pictures of some of my favorite peices of Kandi that I wear, but for now, have fun making your own and send me any pictures you want! I'd love to see them!
