This trail crosses Indian River and then heads out on to an old plantation road. Riders will view a mixture of local agriculture and forest, several species of birds and local livestock. On this trek there are several opportunities for photographs. One particular spot provides an excellent view of Prince Rupert Bay, Cabrits and Guadeloupe. Quite often the riders will see beautiful rainbows.
This trail begins at the farm base and heads out along the main road and then enters onto a historical path which closely follows the river. The lush canopy makes for a cool and refreshing ride. From there we will cross the river and enter onto Brandy River road which will bring us to the Brandy Manor Guest House. At this point riders will dismount and head onto the veranda for a cold beverage. Here the riders can take a little rest and enjoy the surrounding scenery and gardens. Time permitting everyone is welcome to take a dip in the river.
1 to 2 hours. This ride begins at Purple Turtle Beach. Ride along a 1/2 mile sandy beach and take the horses into the ocean to swim. It's a lot of fun! Option to ride down to Cabrits National Park.
