Cassin's Finch Cassin's Finch
(Carpodacus cassinii)

A large, brightly colored finch that resides in the mountains throughout the year, sometimes in small flocks. It feeds on buds in the canopy and also on the ground. It is also a regular visitor to feeding stations.
