As part of the Cologne 99 preparations, we are going to send out a short bulletin by EMail and fax with the aim of getting information out as rapidly and as regularly as possible However, this raises problems oftranslation into English so we would be grateful if people could help us out. The German Marches held a Co-ordination National Meeting on 20February to discuss the 23/24 January 1999 conference and to prepare the Cologne campaign.

The Brussels-Cologne March.

The Belgium Euromarches have already drafted plans and fixed a joint meeting for 10 March 1999, with delegates from Germany, Luxembourg and France. So far we have obtained nearly 200 signatures for the TradeUnionAppeal presented at the Cologne Meeting in January. Once we have reached the 200 mark, a list will be sent out on Email. Associations and trade-unions, etc. can include it in their publications. In thenext phase, we hope to collect over a thousand signatures. Coming out at the end of March will be a Cologne 99 badge, costing 5FF each, a T-shirt of the Cologne poster, costing 30FF each.

The next French Co-ordination Meeting will be held on : Friday, 26 March 1999 at 14h.00 at 104 rue des Couronnes, 75020 Paris. The next Co-ordination of all the European Secretariats is convenedfor : Friday, 16 Avril 1999, in Cologne. On the agenda for discussion will be last minute preparations of marches and demonstrations.
