Sign Guestbook View Guestbook I was inspired yesterday, September 18, 1998, to start writing about some of the things I do while working for the Department of Conservation in Wanganui, New Zealand.

I was ambling through the bush, a huge smile on my face, thinking "this is great, I want to tell the whole world about this". So here I am.

This idea is partially inspired by the Diary of Ingrid Mc Caughey. She is a gutsy and facsinating lady doctor currently overwintering at the Australian Antarctic base Mawson. Her online diary is great and a wonderful insight into life on the ice, check out Ingrid's page too

I'll add a new diary entry as often as I can.
