1. Sadengan grassing ground
   A good and large area which is preparated for animal grazing. From the tower vicitor can enjoy seeing group of Banteng.
2. Trianggulasi beach
   A beach with white sand and high wave of south ocean sounded long peal, it has strong wave and danger for swimming or taking bath.
3. Camping ground
   A place where visitor can put up the tent, here is a water source that people still believe in its sacred and has pure water, drains all year.
4. Caves
   In this area many caves are used to having meditation. The caves which are great deal to visit, istana cave, padepokan cave and putri cave.
5. Ngagelan
   7Kmm. distance from trianggulasi to the western can be found and hatching turtle place and growing up of turtle babies.
6. Plengkung beach

IJEN NATURE RESERVE

The area includes ijen nature reserve (2.648 hectare) and kawah ijen recreation zone (92 hectare). ainfall in this area between 1500 - 4000 mm. a year and average temperature 2° - 18° celcius with the height of 2.350 M. from sea level, the lake seems green, still active in producing sulfurgas. Visitor could walk down until the edge of lake by passing long rock-trail The scenery is beautiful, from top hill over looking to Banyuwangi, Bondowoso and Situbondo.

Flora and Fauna

The hight raainfall of the area resault in an upland tropical forest dominated by cemara gunung (Casuarina junghuhniana) others flora are jamuju (Podocarpus imbricatus), pasang (Lithocarpus sp), and fasinium (Vacinium varingiaefilia) and edelweis (Anavalis sp) ease to be found around the rim. Wild animal inhabiting the park include rusa (Cervus timorensis), macan tutul (Felis pardus), landak (Hystrix brachyura), merak Pavo muticus), ayam hutan (Gallus sp), and many of birds.

Tourist attractions

1. Ijen Crater
   The lake coloured light green combinated with gray and golden steep slope present ecellence panorama. Other side of the slope produce sulfur gaseous.
2. Edelweis
   Around ijen crater there are two species of edelweis which is blooming between August to September.

1. Foreign researcher must have permit issued by Directorate General of Forest Protection and Nature Conservation in Jakarta as well as Domestic researcher. Special domestic researcher have to report Baluran National Park office at Jalan Jenderal Achmad Yani Number 108 Banyuwangi.
2. Visit for studyfield please directly to Baluran National park office in Banyuwangi.
3. Visit for recreation direct to rayon office at Batangan for Baluran National Park and Visitor to Alas Purwo National Park at Pasaranyar. Tegaldlimo, Banyuwangi.
4. Each visitor and vehicle that enter National Park or Recreation Forest Zone require to pay retribution/entering ticket which is listed on Ministry of Forestry decision.
5. Each visitor inside zone of National Park is forbided:
1. Having activity that caused flora and fauna breakage.
2. Taking in any pet, fire arm, air gun or hunting instruments.
3. Having activity that caused the changing of the soil structure.
4. Random visit out side zone recreation is forbiden.
6. It's expected to participate in safing and protecting area from any disturbance, it's for our future generation.
