Rumours are rife in the USA that the 7th series of Buffy (which is half way through finished filming) could be the last we'll see of Buffy and co.
Here we're only in the middle of the sixth series so we've loads of eps left . A message left on a USA messageboard for the show (reportedly from one of the cast members) said they were all contracted for the seventh series and no more. Rumors of the "end" have increased in recent weeks with the news Eliza Dushku and Clare Kramer (faith & glory) have been contracted to appear in the last five episodes of series 7. David Boreanaz has also been in talks about appearing for the last episode; a clear signal that Joss Wheadon is packing things up.
Things on set havn't been rosy either - Sarah's marriage to Freddie is said to be in big trouble, Alyson has said she wants kids, Nick Brendon has a baby on the way with his wife and will understandably want time off to spend with his family, Michelle T was arrested after a fracas in a NewYork club in October and is apparently only talking to Sarah out of all the cast after pay disputes (she and sarah are earning between $350,000/�400,000 for the last series whereas everyone else is on a paltry $125,000).
So there you have it folks, Buffy looks like she's a gonner!!!!!!
