"My darling Angel, my darling darling Angel..."
Drusilla chanted, swaying to a song only she could hear.
"Ms. Edith's been a good girl."
Her hands reached out for her invisible Angel to move closer.
"Love me daddy?" She asked in a childlike voice. "Mummy loves you lots."
A happy little giggle coming from her lips she smiled up at her imaginary dancing partner.

Less then ten feet away, Spike took in the picture.
A solemn tear made its way down his cheek, leaving a bloody track.
**Oh Dru...**
Her little charade shook him to the core.
So innocent and sweet and yet so vicious at times.
He could feel an other bloody track forming on his cheek.
Silently he cursed the slayer. Cursed the bastard Angelus. Cursed himself.
**Drusilla.**
She could be so determined sometimes.
So very obsessed to hold on to her own little word.
Willing to sacrifice whatever necessary to just have it her way.
When his eyes found the marks the bull whip had left, he couldn't withhold a sob.
Her beautiful body, all ravished and torn.
Blood oozing from every hole.
And still.
"My Love, my Sire, my Angel..."
His dead heart cried out in agony.
All the pain his child-woman so thoughtfully refused to feel transferred onto him.
"Mummy loves her Angel." She chanted, her sparkling eyes drilling into a face only she could see. "Mummy loves her little Angel..."
He pressed his knuckles to his eyes, silently contemplating the picture in front of him.
He weeped, his heart scattered and broken.
**Right, ducks, daddy loves ya back.**
He commented sarcastically.
Beaten. Bruised. Bleeding.
**Yeah, loves ya lots.**
One last look.

Some things never changed.
Just as his black goddess' love for her sire.
He knew, there was nothing he could do about it.
Nothing but quietly wheel himself out of the brick's bedroom.
