The Rainbow Theatre Project is a non-profit performing arts center and national tour troupe based in New Hampshire, established in 1987 to meet the creative and social needs of people who are mentally and physically challenged. Throughout the past 17 years the Rainbow Theatre Project has looked at the lack of interaction between the differently-able and the community as a whole and has posed a challenge to all to come and share their interests, talents, and dreams through an integrated theatre arts experience. The result of this challenge was the feeling of personal achievement as well as the opportunity to make good friends, wonderful feelings and to just have fun. The New Hampshire based tour troupe has performed in Las Vegas, Virginia Beach, and New York as well as locally.
