Rio's Sonnet

Moment is immortal, turning in the sky
Forgetting more than we will ever know
In laws of light all light will ever find
In quite contary Mary's mortal blow
Breathing hieroglyphics uniform across the changing dome;
The compass of thy mariner's mortal mass;
Divining stories Mater Magna from the ravaged loam
All at once arising from the tawny glass;
Morning Star to Morning Star beauty bound horrific
From out that rolling ocean's sunny smile;
Therein thy self composes music shorn terrific
Rocking endlessly Her lover, lantern, child -
Much as time forgets sweet ecstasy's decay,
Inamorrata heralds o'er the hoary stars
           the voice AGAPE all the born (if blind) prophetic day.

What do we do if everything's o.k.
I say, throw it deep into the ocean
And let the fire that masks the dreamy day
Corrupt all hope's horizon revolution.
Be it summer solstice or winter wonderland,
We do not change for change is how we talk;
Be you far or near or palmed in what dread hand
The motions of times arrows walk
Upon the sun from chime to balmy chime,
The music of our love forgets all chance;
There is no seeing but creating none but rime;
You and I beneath the sky's emblazoned dance-
Nowt but fire to the elements I pray;
There's ocean ringing in us yet come Hel what may.
