Now that you have examined your past experiences with queers you can begin to identify any prejudices you may have today towards homosexuals. Once again these questions are designed to make you think about your prejudices. So if you need to, write down some of your thoughts and ideas.

1. How do you feel when individuals identify themselves as homosexual?

2. If you have homosexual family members, what do you think of them?

3. How would you feel if someone in your family came out to you?

4. How would you feel if you found out someone in your immediate family was homosexual?

5. How would you feel if your best friend came out to you?

6. How would you react if your child came out to you?

7. How would you react if you discovered one of your teachers or one of your son's or daughter's teachers were homosexual?

8. How would you or do you react when you hear jokes about homosexuals?

9. If an openly homosexual person were running for public office and they supported your ideals, would you vote for them? Why? Why not?

10. How would you feel if your doctor were homosexual?

11. Would you rather your hairdresser be gay or straight? Why?

12. How would you feel if you were homosexual?
