Conservation Good Turn Award
Since 1910, conservation has been an integral part of the program of the Boy Scouts of America. The BSA has been a positive force in conservation and environmental efforts. Scouts have rendered distinguished public service by helping to conserve wildlife, energy, forests, soil, and water. Past generations of Scouts have been widely recognized for undertaking conservation Good Turn action projects in their local communities. |

| Good Turn For America Good Turn for America is a national call to service by the Boy Scouts of America that will help provide adequate food and shelter and to develop good health habits in our nation. To address these issues, we are collaborating with some of the most respected service organizations working in each of these areas. |
| Crime Prevention Award In October 1996, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) with support from the National Crime Prevention Council launched a Crime Prevention Program. The new program serves as the cornerstone of a comprehensive initiative emphasizing parent-child communication in teaching self-protection skills; collaboration with national, state, and local enforcement organizations; and grassroots activities such as parent nights organized by local packs, troops, and posts.
