Rainbow After School Club

Our after school club has been developed in response to the increasing demand for integrated facilities incorporating childcare.We cater for children aged between 4 and 11 although our facilities are currently aimed at the early years in primary school. We assess the demand regularly and are looking to expand in the future.

We are able to offer a collection service from schools within Forres, including Andersons, Applegrove and Pilmuir with a taxi service being use for children from Kinloss schools.

At the end of a busy school day children require a combination of recreation and restful activities, with many people taking advantage of the opportunity to bring together children from the same family group.

The after school programme enables children to complete homework tasks and activities are structured around children's interests: including games, puzzles, computing, sewing, creative and construction projects

Outdoor games and activities
Art and craft projects
Cooking and baking
Games and puzzles
Dressing up and imaginative play
Television and videos

We are currently investigating the feasibility of other out of school activities including visits to places in the community, such as the library and park, and organising riding lessons.

Fees are currently £5.00 per session
