| Five years ago this month
on a snowy January day A little sweet Boston came to us from the hills in the Carolinas Life had dealt you a dreadful hand, so many of those were so cruel As we crossed the river on a ferry boat to Canada you came. Today we had another river to cross, Hand & paw we helped to you through Oh my little Silly Chili Girl My baby you'll always be. We did our best to keep you with us, but God had other plans. Watch over us & keep us close I love you baby girl. Written: Wednesday January 17, 2007 Chili did her best but the disease had just progressed to far. The medications weren't doing their job & her little body was giving up on her. She crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge around 10 a.m. this morning - sleep peacefully my little angel. |
