It is impossible to build a plane without parts!
While we had a couple of major suppliers, like DFE Ultralights for the Ascender III-C airframe and Aero Propulsion Technologies for our Rotax 503 DCDI engine, we also had to prevail on many other companies for some of the smaller parts and tools that we needed to get the plane finished.
Lockwood supplied our Tennessee propeller
Flight Tech supplied our intercom system
Radio Shack supplied some small electrical connectors and our low oil warning light and switch
Transport Canada supplied our Certificate of Registration
Aircraft Spruce supplied many smaller parts including our MilSpec ignition switches, exhaust isolation mounts and our radio mounts
Metal Supermarkets supplied aluminum to make the ignition switch bracket, brake mounting and oil tank mount
Aeronautica supplied a Remove Before Flight flag for our pitot tube
Home Depot supplied our wooden seat bottoms and our plastic wing dust covers, as well as our ballast tube
Canadian Tire was our source for some tools, our intake silencer mount hose, brakes and our compass
Kemco did a great job welding our very complex exhaust system
303 is DFE Ultralight's recommended product for UV protection for the sail
VIP Pilot Centre supplied our Journey Logbook
Green Dragon did the engraving for our dataplate.
Falcon Graphics did our registration letters and Pterodactyl logo
BRS supplied our emergency parachute system
Aero Control supplied our throttle and choke cables
