Shadows of Despair

Haunting shadows fade away,
leave me be with bright of day.
Kiss my cheek, now be gone.
Please recede your sharpened thorns,
from my heart which now is torn.
Hurry now, don't delay
For i must catch the break of day.
Take with you the painful sorrow
which has since scabbed and left me hollow.
I shall breathe deep, the light that splinters everywhere
and forever block the shadows that've caused me such despair.

Emmy, the Yellow M & M

Once there was this little yellow m & m, we'll call it emmy.
One day Emmy was walking in this field absolutely full of flowers.  Daisies, tulips, dandelions,, etc etc
Emmy came across the most beautful flower she had ever set eyes on, tall with red and purple tye dyed petals

As Emmy was admiring its petals, the flower started welting, withering away to nothingness.
Sad now, Emmy cried.
Emmy knew none of the other m & m's would ever believe that she saw a tye dyed flower, and would cast her into the horrible house of bumble bees if she told her bogus story.
So she didn't know what to do.  On and on she searched for a sequal to this memory of her flower.

Nothing.

Emmy was quite lost in the flowerful field, and it was dark now.   Eerily silent.  She began to hum, softly.
Soon after, Em heard something behind her, so she stopped humming and turned to look.
Nothing now, silent again.
A little frightned, Em began to hum louder now to drown her fright.  Then, there was the sound again.
Instead of stopping her humming, she just looked this time.
Much to her surprise, 5 beautiful new tye dyed flowers had started to grow and bloom.

Very pleased was Emmy, not having to worry about the bumble bees, she hummed all night until the break of day.
she hummed all the way home
and guess what followed her....
A gorgeous trail of tye dyed flowers for her to show her fellow m & m's
