In 1899, the streets of New York City echoed with the voices of newsies. Peddlin' the newspapers of Joseph Pulitzer, William Randall Hearst, and other giants of the newspaper world. On every corner, you saw them carryin' the banna', bringin' you the news for a penny a pape. Poor orphans and runaways, the newsies were a ragged army, without a leader. Until one day, all that changed....
I spent a month there one night.

So, one day in existence and already a re-vamp of format. The Top Shelf, Fire Escape, Little Box of Junk and Bookcase are all linked. I've got two of my characters up on the My Characters page in the Little Box of Junk as well. I can still use all your links, and any fan fics you want to send in, finished or unfinished. If you have a banner for your site, send that my way as well. So, send 'em my way, bitte schn!

What are we supposed to do to the bums, kiss 'em?
Never fear, Brooklyn is here!
Baby born with three heads!
I'm no snoozer, sittin' makes me antsy. I likes livin' chancey, Harlem to Delancey...
So that's what they call a family...
Try Bottle Alley, or the Harbor...
Try Central Park, it's guaranteed...
I definitely think we should forget about it for a little while.
