The year is 2005, the war on terrorism has been a success. Nations around the world celebrate the capture of Sudam Hussen and the fall of Al Queda.
With the weakening of terrorist organizations around the world, the once needed elite international counter terrorist unit called RAINBOW has become an obselete tool in today's world.
However as team RAINBOW is being disbanded a new form of evil is rising up from the ashes of terror. A foe stronger than any that RAINBOW has encountered before.

Created in2003, Rainbow 6 RPG started out with a small group of friends who were looking for a new kind of RPG other than Star Trek. Within weeks the RPG became a hit. Over twenty enthusiastic players joined the game and started to write quality storylines. Rainbow 6 RPG became one of the largest modern time action RPG on the web.
During the summer of 2005, Rainbow temporarily had to be shut down due to lack of management. However the wonderfully creative writters of Rainbow 6 RPG have gotten together again and under new leadership restarted Rainbow 6 RPG.
