Everything You Need To Know About The Netherworld

Impending Doom Apartment Complex, located at the foot of Death Mountain, a very live, very dormant volcano, is the former home of Raine Summers (yours truly, the ruler of Insults), Tamara Riddle (my best friend, and former roommate, the ruler of humor), Mick Summers (my younger brother, the ruler of Practical Jokes), and Andrew Gothica (Ruler of posession and resident healer of Harrithol). Also in Impending Doom Apartments, are Henk The Fink, Mary Jane Wauna, and Reefer, the Psychedelic Monkey ghetto. (Hippies. Incidentally, I used to be one of them...good times, man, good times.)

Artimes Deerleaf inhabits the forest, along with Raine and Mick's father, Roddy The Redneck (The ruler of mischeif, you'll find out more about him later.)

Like every world, the Netherworld has a darker side. Popstar Country, a part of the dark side, houses The Popstar Four, and their aid, Reflection. Travis Williams, the ruler of Darkness, along with Snatcher, the ruler of Evil, and Random, the ruler of Territz, live in what Snatcher claims as his castle (Travis is the master of the dark side, therefore master of all he inhabits, including Snatcher's Castle, but he lets Snatcher manage it.)

But enough about the dark side, let's go back to the good parts. Macabre Phillips, our hero, lives in a castle of his own. He resides there with Dimensia and Belladonna Nightshade (sisters, Dimensia is Macabre's current girlfriend, Belladonna is Slam's fiancee), Slam and Dunk Graves, (brothers. Slam is the ruler of friendship, Dunk is the ruler of Sarcasm), Mick, Tamara, Andrew, and I.

Punk Phillips, the Netherworld's resident...I guess you could call him a hobo...wanders. He never stays in one place for very long. Traveling with him are Punker and Mitsy Phillips, the spirit children of Macabre and Punk. (yes, Punk is male...so is Macabre...it's a long story. Just suffice to say, nothing physical had to happen for Mitsy and Punker to be here.) Macabre (The ruler of bad jokes, depression, and morbidity), and Punk (the ruler of all the punchlines to all the bad jokes), are linked. Whatever Macabre feels, Punk feels, and vice versa.

Located near Macabre's Castle, is Gothic Springs. Here lies the grave of Gothica Crimson, Macabre's first love. (you'll find out more about her in the first few issues, so I don't wanna give away the plot.)

Doomed High School, located near, you guessed it, Impending Doom Apartments, was built by the Creator, to teach all the rulers about their powers, and help them get settled into their world. (You'll only see a few issues involving Doomed High, as we get deeper into the plot, the school won't be involved a lot.)
