Thanks so much for your interest in our LaMancha herd. We have included all animals in our herd (except for our tiny babies) on our website. If you have any questions or need additional information, please don't hesitate to give us a call. Prices include a certificate of veterinary inspection. Any additional health tests and shipping costs including a carrier are the responsibility of the buyer.

Kids are raised on a strict CAE-prevention program and have been since 1988. Our herd was tested negative for CAE in the past but we will continue to raise our kids on heat-treated colostrum and pasteurized goat's milk. Kids also receive free choice alfalfa-mix hay and water as well as a starter grain with a coccidiastat in it. We are on a regular vaccination program for tetanus and enterotoxemia as well as for IBR/BVD/ PI3/BRSV and Lepto. Animals are wormed as needed. We feed a 17% mixed grain ration to the milking herd. Free choice salt and minerals are available to all.

2005 has been a good year for our herd in the show ring as well as in the milk pail. We were able to finish both Coco and Jasmine and Sunflower earned a restricted leg. Both Peter and Sunny now have two unrestricted legs each and we earned 6 dry legs (Breezy, Marina, Dusty, Tiva, MacKenzie and Kassidy.) We showed under 5 different judges and earned 17 GCH's, 18 RGCH's, 12 BOB's, 6 BUOB's, 6 Jr. Champions as well as 1 BSDIS, 1 BJDIS and 1 BBIS. Our herd average remains at around 2500#M. It was a very good year!!

We ask for a $100 deposit to reserve kids. This is non-refundable if you cancel your order. If the kid you have chosen is not born or is not acceptable for us to sell, we will refund your deposit or allow you to choose another kid. We will contact you as soon as possible after your kid is born and prefer that you pick it up or make arrangements for shipping within one month, unless prior arrangements have been made. If you plan to have your kid shipped by air, please make arrangements to send a 300 or 400 airline approved carrier as soon as you are notified. The balance of the payment is expected within 2 weeks after the birth of the kid or it will be offered to someone else. As always, we reserve the right to retain any kid born on the farm.

Prices for each kid are listed on the breeding chart page. This year we will offer a 10% discount on the second (or multiple) kids if you purchase more than one.

In order to maintain our herd size, we will have several milking yearlings and/or 2 year olds for sale this spring. Mature animals must be picked up at the farm. Contact us for additional info.
