Good News Week aired for the first time in 1996. It aired for a few weeks on the ABC and then it was taken off due to lack of ratings. However it was brought back on in 1997 and became a big hit. It aired for two years with the ABC. However, Good News Week has moved from the ABC to Channel 10.
