Rainy Days

These tears that fall down my face,
you can never touch them.
Never wipe them away, or stop them from falling
I looked at you today,
saw your emotions bottled inside
I wish I could break your trend of hiding
set you free, along with your spirit.
Because I know you can glow brighter than the sun itself.
And when you don't, your darker than the night's sky.
Let us work together, I'll pull you from the gutters,
be your shelter from the rain, which you say you love so much.
Then why is it, rain makes us sad?... makes most people sad... but not us, no not us. Becuase we live for the rain, depend on it, feed on it, nourish it, and yet destroy it as it destroys us.
