Life is such a puzzle! It's riddled with unanswered prayors. Happy endings,
unhappy endings, beginings. . .
Does anyone wonder like I do?
Does anyone question? Dream of what else there is?
Not this planet, this space or time, but if there is something more?
Is everything we do redone and redone and then done once again one
along side the other?
And, if we jumped out of this time, could we meet ourselves?
Or maybe we're all hooked up to some futuristic devises, living and
dying in a dream.
When we die will we wake up?
Or maybe all we are is someone elses dream, and our memories and history
all belongs to the dreamer.
When the dreamer wakes, will we stop existing?
Maybe there is a group of beings; God and his staff, who build worlds
and time on a whim.
Or a bunch of children off somewhere beyond our reach, playing video
games and directing our lives at the flic of a joystick.
What about life? People.
If Adam and Eve are father and mother to us all, what kind of damage
have milleniums of inbreading caused?
Is marrying a man like marrying a brother? A cousin or uncle?
God created the world in seven days, how long is a day to a God?
Is it a month? A year?
Is that how the dinasaurs lived and died before we existed?
Did God directly create us? Or did he create a humanoid creature like
apes and let them evolve in the span of a God's day?
Does anyone else wonder, is the world alive and sentient?
Are we all simply fleas, drinking her blood and eating her flesh?
If we evolved from animals and we eat them now, are we eating our family?
Caging our cousins?
Is is right to have a president or a king if all men are created equal?
How can we choose the best man?
Then of course is the question, what comes first;
the melody or the lyrics,
the chicken or the egg?
And where is the woman Durante always said goodnight to?
Like I said, life is a puzzle, a riddle.
At least it's all one Hell of a ride!
