Flying Without Wings
 

Every bodies lookin for that something
one thing that makes it all complete

[Piccolo floats before his waterfall, arms crossed and eyes closed, skip to Vegita standing alone breathing heavy after a battle, skip once again to Trunks sitting behind his desk at Capsule Company, starring at a picture of the whole team. Zoom in on the picture and fade to next scene]

You find it in the strangest places

[Little Gohan talks to Piccolo who ignores him]

Places you never knew it could be

[Vegita shouts at Yamcha, Yamcha yells back, when they turn away from each other though, Yamcha is smiling]

Some find it in the face of their children
Some find it in their lovers eyes

[Trunks talks to his little sister and then flies away with his father. Off in the distance, Goten watches him with bare longing in his eyes]
 

Who can deny the joy it brings

[Goten smiles and blows his best friend a forbidden kiss then walks home]

when you found that special thing

[Piccolo watches Gohan sleeping after his training for the day and actually smiles]

You're flying without wings

[Vegita pulls a quick flip in the air and glances down to see Yamcha watching. He grins, zoom in on his sparkling eyes zoom out and it's Yamcha's eyes.]
 
 

Some find it sharing every morning

[Goten and Trunks watch the sunrise from the roof eating cold pizza and laughing over little things.]

Some in a solitary light

[Piccolo and Vegita flash by the screen, always alone]

You'll find it in the words of others
A single line can make you laugh or cry

[Gohan whistles his theme and flinches back with a heartbreaking sob when Piccolo yells for him to shut up because it hurts his ears]

You'll find it in the deepest friendships
The kind you cherish all your life

[Goten and Trunks spar perfectly timed, fist meeting fist then fall over laughing in the grass when Gotan makes a funny face. They look over at each other and their laughter fades as their lips meet for the first time.]
 

And when you know how much that means

[Vegita shows Yamcha a grin and hesitantly offers him his hand, which he takes happily.]

You've found that special thing,

[Piccolo hugs Gohan and smiles, Gohan smiles back and kisses him softly then giggles, making Piccolo smile again.]

You're flying without wings

[Goten and Trunks fly up together in front of the sun. The glare fills the screen and slides into a new scene.]
 

So impossible as it may seem
You've got to fight for every dream

[Verious battles flash by, all swirling together into a tornado form. They change suddenly into romantic scenes between the three couples and then slam into the camera, fading to a new image.]

Cause who's to know
which one you let go
would ‘a made you complete

[Vegita and Yamcha, Piccolo and Gohan, Goten and Trunks,  walk passed each other without turning but then each whirls around to hug their respective partners. Focus on a single tear from Gohan's eyes, camera follows it as it falls it becomes a drop from the waterfall in Piccolo's valley]

Well for me it's waking up inside you,
To watch the sun rise on your face

[Piccolo and Gohan lay together by the river, wrapped around each other. Gohan has woken up first and is watching the sunrise colors slip over Piccolo's features.]

To know that I can say I love you
In any given time or place

[Trunks whispers Ai shiteru to Goten and the other boy smiles a huge smile and leaps up onto the other boy, holding him close.]

It's little things that only I know
Those are the things that make you mine

[Yamcha's eyes flash and he holds up a pair of briefs for Vegita that say ‘property of Yamcha, Vegita grins and holds up a pair for Yamcha that says ‘Vegita's Saiyan' Both men chuckle.]

And it's like flying without wings

[They kiss and camera zooms in on their lips, through to the other side and out again only now it's Trunks and Goten.]

Cause you're my special thing
 I'm flying without wings

[Gohan kisses Piccolo's nose and laugh's when the Namek crosses his eyes to see the kiss.]
 

And you're the place my life begins

[Vegita smiles at Yamcha and slips a ring onto his finger carefully. Yamcha blushes and kisses him]

and you'll be where it ends

[Gohan kneeling by Piccolo after Vegita's partner killed him the first time.]

I'm flying without wings

[Trunks and Goten play up in the air, stealing kisses and teasing each other mercilessly.]

And that's the joy you bring

[beneath the two boys Vegita stands in Yamcha's embrace and shows his a real and true smile]

I'm flying without wings

[Sitting on front of those two, Gohan sits on a newly revived Piccolo's lap snuggling his chest. Camera zooms out to show all three couples then focuses on the setting sun as screen goes dark]
