<Part 1>

Andy lounged across the large leather couch in Higashi's apartment. They hadn't all been together in years! He couldn't wait to take Terry on again. //I'm sure I can beat him this time!//

    "Andy!"

A whirlwind of pink and red landed in his lap and he blinked, startled, "Uh. . . Hi Mai."

"Is that all you have to say after being away soooo long?! Have you missed me? I think we should get married, that way we'll never be apart again!"

The blond mentally cringed at the thought.

    "Hey where's Joe."

The kick boxer's bedroom door opened and Joe stood there freshly showered and dressed in
jeans and a tank top. "Joe's here."

"So." Andy smiled, "All that's left is Terry."

    "He called earlier." Mai smiled.

    "Wha. . ."

"He's bringing pizza over since he knows Joe hates to cook." She winked at the blushing brunet.

A knock came to the door and Joe took the welcome distraction and answered it.

On the other side stood an adonis! Firm and tall, long, sunset gold hair. Joe smiled widely, Same
blue jeans, worn sneakers and ball cap. Terry was back.

The other was feeling slightly less than beautiful seeing as he was balancing a pizza on his head,
two in each palm and carrying the bag containing the drinks, in his teeth.

Andy snickered, "Joe, maybe you should help him. . ."

"Oh! right! Hold on let me get those."

Mai giggled and shared a secret glance at Andy, they both knew that Joe had the crush of all
crushes on Terry  but was too shy to say.

Terry spat the bag onto the couter and grinned as he opened the nearest box, "Hi guys! Get it
while it's hot!"

Finally they were all together again, eating hot pizza and pepsi in a circle on Joe's living room
floor.

Joe sat close to Terry and laughed as the golden haired fighter realized his cheese wouldn't
detatch from the pizza. He reach over and severed it then stuffed the long string into Terry's lips.

Always oblivious when it came to Joe's affection, Terry just smiled and continued to eat.

Mai was almost bursting with the need to say something.

Andy quickly intervened. "Mai, I heard from sensai that you learned a new technique."

Her whole face lit up. "Hai! I learned hypnosis!"

Terry grinned, "Like on TV? You can make someone bark like a dog or think they're a chicken?"

She wrinkled her nose in disdain, "I can make someone tell me everything they know."

Joe snorted in disbelief, "Sure, that doesn't really work Mai. It's all smoke and mirrors." He took
a long drink of his Pepsi and smiled.

"Oh yeah? How 'bout I hypnotize you then huh?"

    "Me."

    "Yeah."

    "Never happen."

    "Then let me try."

    "Fine."

Terry glanced at Andy as Mai begain to put Joe under. This might not be a good idea.

    "Joe. Can you hear me."

    "Yes."

    "You feel safe and warm."

    "Yes."

"You will say and do anything I ask."

    "Yes."

Terry looked dubious, "Joe? Yo man are you really hypnotized?"

    No answer.

    "I don't believe it."

Andy nodded, "Ask him something he would never tell us."

    "Joe." Mai began.

    "Yes."

"What was your most embarrassing moment?"

"Last year I was caught in America after a tournament with no money and no way to get home. I
hired myself out as a male stripper in a Las Vegas show room until I had enough money to get
home. I had to strip naked in front of screaming women,
One tried to shove a hundred between my. . ."

"Ok!" Mai quickly stopped him, "It was embarrassing! I believe you!"

Andy and Terry snickered at her red hot face and Mai glarred at them.

"Mai," Andy grinned, "Tell him to strip for us."

    Terry stopped smiling, "Maybe we shouldn't. . . I mean he wouldn't. . ."

The blond smirked, //Maybe my little brother isn't so oblivious after all.//

Playing the matchmaker was one of Mai's favorite pass times. She saw Terry's interest in his eyes
and smirked. //I'll get them together by the end of the tournement! I swear I will!// "Joe."

    "Yes."

"Terry want's to see you strip for him."

    "Terry."

    "Yes, just for him."

Terry blushed bright red, "MAI! This is an invasion of his privacy tell him. . ." Andy turned on the
music and Terry froze as Joe started to move.

He moved like a serpent, fluid and controled, each part of him moving as the others did almost
like a kata. //He's beautiful.// Strong but lean arms moved crossed in front of him and lifted the tight
tank top up over his head, teasingly slow but just fast enough not to look awkward.

As the music gained intensity so did his motions, mastred and harder, sharp, each move a perfect
pose. Terry couldn't take his eyes away even if he had wanted to. He was caught in a spell woven
by Joe Higashi, and nothing could have made him look elsewhere. Joe gyrated his whole body from
hips to head and then sauntered up so Terry standing tall so that his zipper was right at the martial
artists lips. He undid the button of his jeans and waited, gyrating closer and closer.

Terry gulped, worried, but leaned in and caught the tiny metal tabin his teeth, pulling to down
slowly.

"Woohoo! Go Terry!" Mai cheered and Terry blushed horribly.

"Mai. . ." Whatever else he was going to say was lost in his throat as Joe slid his jeans town to
pool at his ankles. Terry looked up into the kick boxer's eyes. They were empty. "Mai stop this!
Now!"

"Ok, Ok." She shrugged and turned off the music, "Joe, get dressed."

He turned away from Terry like the whole thing had been nothing and pulled his clothing back on.

Andy looked worried, "Terry? You ok?"

"That was wrong Andy. Joe didn't know what he was doing."

The blond nodded, "Mai bring him back ok? No one says a word about this."

She nodded and snapped and Joe was smirking again, "See, told ya, nothing but smoke and
mirrors."

    Terry just munched his pizza.

Mai squealed, "I know! Lets play a drinking game!"

Joe smiled and nodded but Terry was nutorious for getting drunk easily no matter how quickly he
could sober up.

Mai ignored him and hurried to get the drinks.

    "Lets play 'I never."

Andy just blinked and Terry laughed, "You know Andy, when you say 'I've never. . .' and say
something you've never done and then anyone who _has_ done it has to take a shot?"

    "Oh."

Mai grinned, "Me first! Me first!"

    "Ok."

She thought a moment, "I've never kissed a girl."

Terry, Andy, and Joe glarred at her and took their shots. "That wasn't fair."

    "Ok Terry, your turn."

Terry nodded, "I've never checked Mai out."

Joe and Andy blushed brightly but took their shots.

    "Andy?"

    "I've never been to America."

"That isn't a good one!" Joe rolled his eyes.

    "Well I haven't."

Terry and Joe took their shots.

By the end of the first five rounds Mai had had almost nothing to drink. Andy was slightly buzzed,
Joe was more relaxed and Terry was three sheets to the wind.

    "Mai?"

"I've never wanted Joe or Terry's bodies." She grinned.

Both boys blushed bright red and reached for the same glass then froze, "You. . ."

    "You. . ."

"Well drink already." Mai's smile was full of mischeif, "Andy your turn, make it good this time."

"I never wanted to kiss a boy."

Again Terry and Joe were shocked when they both reached for a glass.

    "Terry."

"I've never done a strip tease."

Joe coughed and quickly took his shot as if he could do it fast enough that no one would notice.
"I've never. . . um. . . pass."

Mai grinned, "Let's play a new game now that we're all more loose."

    "What?"

    "Truth or Dare."

Terry laughed, "That's a game for teenage girls at slumber parties."

"Not if you play it right."

    "Fine, try it."

"Ok." Mai grinned, "Andy, truth or dare?"

    "Truth."

Joe and Terry grinned and teased him for being a wimp.

"Truth. . . do you want me?"

    Andy's eyes widened, "Wha. . .?"

    "The truth."

    ". . ."

    "What?"

    "Yes."

She squealed and latched onto him and he almost groaned out loud.

    "Joe, truth or dare?"

    "Dare."

"I dare you to kiss Terry. Right on the lips."

Both boy's froze and stared at eachother, "You want me to. . ."

    "Yep."

Andy saw that the kick boxer was backing out, so he quickly asked, "What's the penalty?"

Mai grinned, "You have to strip naked and stay that way until morning.

Joe cleared his throat and leaned toward Terry, giving him a quick peck on the lips.

    "You call that a kiss?"

    "Sure."

    "No way."

    "Well then go again."

    "Fine, Terry truth or dare?"

    "Dare."

"I dare you to go the rest of the night in your briefs only."

    "I um. . ."

    "What?"

    "I don't. . . wear. . . um, underclothes."

Andy and Mai stared at him for a moment and burst into laughter. Joe put his hand on his nose, subtly staunching a nose bleed.

"Joe will loan you some." Mai grinned and disappeared into the bedroom, reapearing a moment
later with a pair of tight black silk briefs. "Very nice."

Joe blushed and tried not to seem to obvious as he watched Terry turn, strip and slip the soft
things on.

    Mai nodded, "Ok, Terry's turn."

"Aa. . . Mai, truth or dare?"

    "Truth."

    "What are you up to?"

Her eyes widened and her breath quickened, "well I . . . I thought I could get everyone to loosen up enough around each other to. . . have some fun."

Terry was too drunk to register what she said, and too busy checking out Joe's tight jeans. "Ok,
your turn."

Mai Smiled, still going. "Joe, truth or dare?"

    "Dare?"

    "You sure?"

    "Yeah."

    "French Terry."

    "WHAT?!"

Terry's eyes went wide, "Did you just tell him to. . ."

    "You have to do it."

Joe glanced at Terry helplessly, "Um. . ." He leaned in and caught the martial artist's lips quickly,
slipping his tongue between the firm lips then pulling it back but Terry gave a soft moan and leaned
into the kiss, grabbing Joe's hair and pulling him in again. Joe gasped and Terry's tongue invaded his
mouth hungrily.

Mai looked at the two proudly, "Lets go into the guest room Andy." She pulled the smiling boy
away.

Terry and Joe stopped for breath and realized that they were all alone. "Joe I. . ."

    "Terry I think I. . ."

    ". . ."

"Since the first moment that I saw you."

"You were asleep, you said I interupted a good dream."

    "I wasn't asleep, I was watching."

Terry's eyes got a far away look in them, "Lilly. I remember."

Joe's heart fell and he looked away, "Yeah. . . Lilly."

    "Joe what did I say?"

"I was looking at you baka."

    "Me?!"

He nodded, still not looking up. "That night we spent talking, it meant a lot to me. All of my times
with you do."

Terry smiled, "They mean a lot to me too Joe."

"I was awake that morning, when you tucked me in."

    "Why didn't you say anything?"

"I wanted to feel like we were more than friends, that you cared about me deeper than that."

    "Joe."

"I know, I've screwed it all up now." He stood up and walked toward the closet for his jacket,
"You guys can stay here like you planned to, I'll get a hotel room for the week."

Terry reached out and grabbed his arm, "You took a bullet for me."

"I'd take a thousand bullets for you."

"You just said you wanted me."

"Yeah." His eyes never left the floor.

"You think I'm going to let you just leave after that."

"Ok then. You have a right to beat me, I mean I've betrayed your trust. Just leave me someplace
warm when you're done."

    "Joe no baka."

    "Huh?"

"Why do you think it took you being hurt for me to get up the nerve to face Krouser again?"

    "I. . ."

"You have always been in my heart."

    "But Sulia! Lily!"

"Like kid sisters." Terry sighed, "They wanted more but. . . I loved someone else. They accepted
that. They're still with me sometimes."

    "Terry."

"I never thought you could feel the same. You're such a ladies man."

"I put up a good act, but to tell you the truth, I haven't been with a woman since I first met you."

    "That was five years ago!"

Joe shrugged, "Master said, 'once you have seen the sun, the lamp light is never as bright as
before.'[1]"

    "And what was your sun?"

    "You."

Terry caught the kickboxer in his arms and they stayed like that until both fell asleep, exhausted
from the revelations of the day.

Andy and Mai found them curled up together against the couch the next morning and Andy smiled, "Well, we did it."

She nodded, "You think we should go home now?"

"Let's make sure they're ok with this when they wake up."

    "You think they won't be?"

"I think it will be a shock." Andy looked at his brother currled around their best friend, "But a
good one."

    "I hope. . ."

<Part 2>

Terry opened his eyes, instantly alert from his sleep as any good street fighter should be. The first thing he noticed was the mass of deep brown hair just under his chin. //What. . .// The soft warmth of another body close to his.

He blinked again, trying to remember what had happened. //I was drinking a lot more than I should have. Mai talked us into playing truth or dare and then. . . Joe kissed me!// It all came flooding back and Terry's eyes widened slightly as he realized who was leaning against him, wrapped in his embrace.

    //Oh God!//

Joe moved in his arms and Terry found himself lost in eyes of pure ebony. "Terry?"

    "Morning." //Oh that was brilliant.//

"Uh. . . why are we one the floor?"

//He doesn't remember! He was drunk and he can't remember what he said!// ". . . search me."

Those deep eyes searched his face a moment before the kick boxer levered himself up and ran his fingers through his hair. A nervous gesture that Terry found unbearably cute. "Nn!" He gripped his head and fumbled around the kitchen on the other side of the bar for some asprin, "Never let me drink that much again!" He groaned and downed five of them. "Why _did_ I drink so much anyway?"

Terry pulled his hat lower to shade his face and conceal his blush, "We played a drinking game."

    "Mai."

    "Yep."

"If she wasn't so talented[1]  I'd kick her out for this."

Terry made a soft snorting sound, "Yeah, right." He stood and searched the fridge for some breakfast.

"How can you eat after drinking so much?!"

    Terry smiled, "I sober quickly."

    "Damn you."

The answer the golden blond gave was a smirk. Inside though, he was torn, so torn. //We slip into this easy, relaxed mood with no problems at all. That's how close we are. Like the months between our last meeting were never there. He's my best friend, he's more than that.// The fighter took out a cartoon of orange juice and chugged some down strait from the container. //Should I risk what we already have? I know when he was drunk he said. . . but what about in the light of day?//

    "Yo! Earth to Terry!"

He jumped and blinked at Joe, "Yeah?"

    "Where were you just then?"

"A very unstable place." Terry admitted truthfully.

"Oh?" Joe sat beside him, "Anything I can do?"

"I. . ." Terry found himself leaning closer.

"Yeah?" Joe mirrored him until their lips were so near. . .

"Hey guys! Come on! We'll miss the tournament!" Mai bounced into the room, bubbly and cheerful as ever.

Both boy jumped back and blushed, "Hi Mai."

"Now what were you two up to?" She teased.

Terry blanched and quickly grabbed up his hat and hurried out of the apartment. "See you at the arena!"

The door closed with a click and Joe glarred at Mai, tapping his fingers on the table.

    "I interupted something, didn't I."

"You could say that." She blushed and Joe let out a resigned sigh. "Don't worry, you probably saved our friendship. I don't think He'd take kindly to me kissing him."

That caught her off guard, "Joe, what did we do last night?"

    "Played a drinking game, why?"

Mai rolled her eyes and turned around, walking into Andy's room. "Andy."

    "Mm, hm? Mai?"

    "He doesn't remember."

    "Damn."

    "Yeah." Mai pouted prettily.

"Hey don't worry, you still have the whole week before the tournament is over."

Mai nodded firmly, "And I _Will_ get those to bakas to see what's in front of them if I have to beat it into them!"

    Andy sweatdropped.

The first day of the tournament set the pace for the rest of the week. Terry wasn't disappointed. There were plenty of skilled fighters there, enough to give him a real challenge. He flew into his first matches whole heartedly. Playing with them before taking them out. This was simple. Good. Blood was real and when they didn't get up they'd remember in the morning!

The opponent's fist met his jaw and Terry jumped. //Watch it Bogart! Eyes to the match!//

Nine matches down and three to go for the day. Terry took a drink of his water bottle and watched Joe fight.

The kickboxer was like a tiger! He jumped full into it with his whole body and spirit. His eyes went feral when he attacked. His whole body loose and fluid. //Beautiful.// Terry realized with a start. //I've always thought he was beautiful, why didn't I see. . . Joe.//

"And this match goes to Joe Higashi!"

The crowd went wild and Joe cheared right along with them, relishing his moment.

When he left the ring to meet Terry he grinned wide, "Hey! You're doing great this tournament!"

Terry smiled easily and nodded, "Thanks, you are too."

    "Of course."

    "Ego check."

Joe paused, "Hold on." He turned a moment and turned back, "It's still there."

    "Hn." Terry grinned, "baka."

    "Who me?"

The bantered playfully as Andy and Mai and countless others fought then Terry returned to the ring and Mai and Andy joined Joe on the outskirt, "How're you doing?" Mai grinned.

Joe didn't notice her. "Terry has improved."

"Yeah. He's like a force of nature up there." Andy grinned.

Mai shrugged, "We don't have a chance. This years title is all Terry's."

Joe nodded, "He deserves it." Then started slightly, "When'd you get here?"

Mai and Andy both sighed in exasperation.

"He's incredible isn't he." The kick boxer smiled, "So solid. Like a tree whos roots go so deep he can't be moved unless he pulls them up himself."

Andy put a hand on Joe's shoulder, "Joe, Mai and I both know you have a crush on him."

That broke through his haze of admiration, "W. . . what?"

    "You heard me just fine."

    "I. . . but. . ."

    "You should tell him."

"He's my best friend." Joe explained softly, "I don't want to loose that."

    "He wants more too."

    "You're seeing things."

"Yes I am." Andy winked and Joe almost had a heart attack. //Andy is winking? I must have hit my head!//

Mai giggled, "Come on Joe! Give him a chance! I think he'd surprise you."

"After today nothing would surprize me."

Just as he finished his sentance Terry threw his openent from the ring, and right onto Joe.

"You were saying?" Mai giggled again.

Joe tapped his fingers on the floor and looked up at his two amused friends from beneith the unconcious fighter.

"It could have been worst." Terry smiled and helped Joe from beneith the man's dead weight.

"Yeah." Joe agreed and rubbed his head, "He could have been a sumo wrestler."

Terry's laughter was like an aphrodisiac! Joe smiled in a daze until Andy nudged him ino his brother. The golden haired boy caught him tightly and blinked in surprise without letting go, "Are you ok?"

Joe breathed in Terry's scent hazily and murmured, "Mhmm."

"Both of us have finished our matches for today, Andy, Joe and I are leaving, see you back at the apartment."

Mai waved coyly, "Have fun! Don't do anything Andy and I wouldn't do!"

    Terry snickered and Joe chuckled.

"Terry! Higashi!" Andy blushed, "Stop thinking what you're thinking!"

They ran outside before they burst into laughter.

The two fighters walked along the street quietly. Neither wanted to go back to the house just yet so they stroled through the city, reveling in the darkness that allowed their souls to be more free.

Joe was walking on a cloud. Terry had taken his hand to pull him through the crowd, but even now, out in the open, he didn't let go. "Where are we going?"

    "Nowhere."

    "Pretty long walk to nowhere."

    "I like walking."

    Joe nodded, "so do I." //When it's with you.//

"What do you think of the competition?"

"What competition?" the kick boxer bragged with a smile.

Terry smiled back at him, "You've improved."

"Yeah well what can I say." He shrugged, "I'm just good."

Blue eyes sparkled with laughter. Terry's next words were cut of by thunder and the sky seemed to open up and spill it's contents down to earth. The American stood there letting the rain wash over him.

Joe snickered and yelped as Terry pulled him out from under the shop eaves and into the storm with him. They wrestled halfheartedly then Joe liften his face to the sky, letting the water flow over his closed eyes and his mouth. "I love the rain."

Terry just watched the other's antics with an undifinable look.

"When I was a kid I used to dance in the rain." He laughed, "My mom always made me come inside. She said I'd catch my death from it."

They walked up to the apartment and stood in the doorway, watching the rain fall. In the cramped archway, Terry wrapped his arms around Joe from behind so that they both fit under the protecting stone way.

The dark haired man blinked, unsure, and turned in his friends embrace to face him, "Terry, I. . ."

Terry smiled lazily and brushed the other's limp and wet hair from his face, "I've never seen your hair down before."

"Aa." Joe breathed, not knowing what to say. Not wanting to break the spell the night had woven for them.

Terry blinked and his lips parted in a sighing voice, "You're beautiful."

    "Terry. . ."

    "I enjoyed our walk."

    "Me too."

They were speaking in whisperes now. Barely audible. Terry brushed his knuckles lightly over Joe's cheek, "May I. . . kiss you goodnight?"

His heart sped up and his breath came in rapid time. //Terry wants to kiss me. _Me_//

    "Well?"

    "Please."

Those perfect lips turned up into a soft smile and closed over his. they didn't part thier mouths, just brushed lips softly, but it was the most perfect kiss he had ever known. Warmth flowed through him and the emptiness in his heart filled up and flowed over until it felt like his veins were filled with glowing radient love. It ended all to soon.

    "Terry. . ."

"Shh." He placed a finger over the other's lips. "Goodnight Joe." Then he went inside and Joe stood there, in the door way, his fingers resting over the lips Terry had kissed so softly. //Terry.//

<Part 3>

Mai looked up from the couch as a very dazed Joe walked into his apartment. "So where were you two?"

    "Around."

She grinned and bounced around to face him, "Well Terry looked like he 'really' liked whatever you did while you were 'around'."

Joe blushed and walked toward the bathroom, "I'm taking a shower."

"Should I ask Terry to join you?"

    "Mai!"

    "Just a thought." She teased.

Joe closed the door thoughtfully and stripped in his usual quick and efficiant manner before stepping under the hot stream of water. //Terry kissed me.// He closed his eyes and revled in the calming feeling of water slipping over his body. //He never even hinted before but. . . whatever Gods began this madness I pray it never ends.//

    "Joe?"

"EEP!" He jumped back and grabbed a towel to cover himself, "Oh, Andy. . ." He laughed and let the now soked towel drop, "I thought you were Mai."

    "Shy Joe?"

    "Who me? Nah!"

"I need to speak with you."

"what about?" He begain soaping his hair and put his head under the water.

    "Terry."

The poor man sputtered and coughed as he inhaled suds and soap and Andy waited patiently for him to clear his mouth and nose of the foreign substance.

    "Done?"

"Wha. . ." He sniffled a bit more and sneezed out bubbles, much to his chargain, "What about Terry?"

"He's my brother and I don't want to see him hurt."

    "Neither do I man."

    "Do you love him?"

    "WHAT?!"

    "Do. You. Love. Him."

"I. . . Andy what brought this on?!"

"Terry came back tonight with a huge grin on his face and promptly fell asleep hugging his pillow like a lovesick school girl. This 'is' Terry we're talking about. He has never acted so. . .smitten."

    "He really hugged his pillow?"

Andy smiled, "Really did. He probably still is. The point is Joe, he loves you, and I don't want you to hurt him."

"Are you asking what my intentions are?"

    "Something like that."

Joe quickly finished washing and dried off then sat in his towel on the edge of the bathtub, "I love him. I've loved him since that first night we met, but he was always so. . . out of reach."

"He does seem like that doesn't he."

"I mean, how could I. . . I never even thought he would like me in that way! He was always. . . I don't know, innocent or something."

"Terry is a puzzle that many have tried to solve. . . all have failed."

    "So why me?"

"Don't ask me." Andy shrugged, "Terry is the only one who can answer that."

"And you want me to ask him?"

"If you love him. If you want forever as much as he does. If not then stop this now. I don't want him hurt."

    "I would never hurt him."

Andy smiled and stood, squeezing Joe's shoulder, "That's all I wanted to hear."

Joe sat there for an hour after Andy left, just thinking about everything that had been said and revealed. //Am I strong enough to do this? To face this?// Terry's face, his smile, his laughter, flashed through the boy's mind and he smiled a dreamy smile, //for him I will be.//

He stood and walked silently into the guest room. Andy was currled up on one twin bed, Mai on the other, Terry had opted for the window seat and was currled there, body shaped around the pillow he was hugging just as Andy said. The scene was so full of innocence and contentment that Joe had to smile.

Slowly, crystal blue eyes opened to blink up at him sleepily, "Hey Joe."

"Hey Terry." Joe replied, to spell bound to think of an intelegent answer. He sat beside Terry who slid into a sitting position to make room for him. Both faced each other silently.

"Are you alright?" Terry finally asked.

Joe nodded, "I just wanted to see you."

The golden blond smiled, "Well, here I am."

"Yeah." Joe smiled back, "Here you are."

    "Joe?"

"I. . . Terry, when you kissed me tonight, why did you do it?"

Terry blinked and blushed, "Because you looked so damn kissable I couldn't help it."

"Would you like to kiss me again?"

"I'd never get tired of kissing you."

    "What if I kissed you?"

"Joe?" Whatever else Terry might have said was cut of by Joe's lips as they crushed to his and drank in his taste like someone dying of thirst. "Wha. . . what was that for?" He whispered.

    "Nothing."

    "Joe?"

    "Come outside with me Terry?"

    "It's still raining."

    "I know."

Terry nodded and stood, slipping into his clothes and following Joe out into the rain. Once outside Joe led him to the park and stood facing him, "So."

The Kickboxer held out his hands, "So dance with me."

    "Dance?"

    "Yeah, dance with me."

Terry didn't know what to do, so he took Joe's offered hands and swayed up against him, dancing with him under the cold rain that couldn't penetrate the heat they made between them.

"We've been dancing around eachother a lot lately."

    "I didn't mean to."

    "You're my best friend."

    "You're mine too."

Joe put his head on Terry's shoulder and sighed, "But I want more."

All Terry could do was hold him tighter, "What do you want Joe?"

"I want forever." He said quietly, "I love you Terry, I want to be with you always."

    "Always." Terry breathed.

"I want to fall asleep in your arms and know you'll be there in the morning. I want us to belong to eachother. Terry."

"Are you sure Joe? Once we commit to this there's no turning back. It'll be for keeps."

"I'm sure. I've never been more sure."

    "I love you."

    "Seal it with a kiss?"

Terry's mouth answered by pressing his lips to his love's.

When they parted Joe gasped, "s. . . sealed."

"We should get back." Terry smiled into Joe's hair as the rain slowly stopped around them.

    "Ah."

    "We have the tournament tomorrow."

    "Yeah."

Terry couldn't force himself to let go of the kickboxer in his arms, "Just one more dance."

    "Yeah."

"For the rest of our lives."

    "No." Joe smiled, "Longer."

Terry burried his face again in his partner's wet hair, and they swayed to a song that only lovers can hear, on rainy nights, in eachother's arms.

Ok, what did you think? Good? Bad? Should I write more  Terry/Joe?

Oh, last part I put a [1] and didn't explain it so I will now. When Joe said Mai had 'talent' he was trying to sound crude. a girls 'talent' in that context is measured by how much her breasts move when she walks, or how big they are.
