The 1994-1995 Los Angeles Clippers were an aging bunch. The Clippers made a pre season deal to acquire star point guard Jason Kidd. They also traded Vernon Maxwell, Tracy Murray and Popeye Jones to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Isaiah Rider. This would solidify the Clippers starting backcourt for years into the future. With the trades and new players coming and going, no chemistry was developed. The team finished poorly, but ended up with the top pick in the draft.
