Ted Hendricks visits South Florida

On Saturday, March 18th, "Raider" Al Fields, his wife, Jerry "Raider Rasputin" Lopez and I trekked up to the top of Palm Beach County for a "Stork" sighting! Venturing to top of South Florida, the gang spent a couple of hours chatting with one of the greatest linebackers in NFL history, and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Amongst the topics of conversation: where he grew up, pranks from his days at practice in Oakland, life at his new home in Chicago and the possibility of a guest appearance at next year's Biletnikoff Benefit.

 All in all, a very friendly guy, Ted was very accommodating to requests for pictures and such and was especially nice to our road crew out there to meet a man who defined what it was and is to be a Raider in the late 70s and early 80s.

If you didn't make it, you missed out! Don't worry, though, we more than made up for anyone who didn't make it out there.
