Tierz'yrrlan (And Ybrielle)

Tierz'yrrlan, the dragon that got more play time then his riders!

Tierz'yrrlan hatched around the time of the re-founding of Mount Morlith, beginning the reclamation of the old Aeryie after the destruction that devestated it years ago, leaving it nothing more then a ruin. Born an Obsidian, Lan was one of the larger dragons on the Mount, a warrior of his kind. Choosing his first Rider, he bonded to a wild, tribal woman by the name of Yseult. Together, they were almost a comical team. Lan's natural calmness offset her irate temperment.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. The Undead dragon Lord, Stryfe, attacked the Mount, forcing its residents from their homes, killing many in the process. Lan lost his rider that day, and as the bond shattered, his soul plummetted into despair. He surely would have wasted away and joined her in death, if not for a young brash woman named Ybrielle, a former Rider herself, who knew well the blackness of losing a Bonded partner. They comforted one another through the ordeal, and after Morlith was reclaimed by the Riders, he chose her for his new Rider.

Today, he can still be seen in the skies with her.
