Pirates of the Caribbean - The curse of the black pearl
| Johnny Depp (of Edward Scissorhands fame), Orlando Bloom (of Legolas of Lord of the Rings fame) and Keira Knightly (of Bend it like Beckham fame) make for an unlikely threesome battling a crew of pirates - Depp to get his ship (the black pearl) back and Bloom to resuce Keira who has somethings the pirates want - a gold coin that would release them of the curse of nothingness - no bodies, no feelings and yet an immortal life. |
| The movie has a good story, inspired performances by all and sundry and an enlighting look at what may or may not be the code of pirates. Very entertaining. |
