Kal ho na ho

Rani and Kajol make a promised appearance, so do some other known faces like Uday Chopra - on the whole well made and yes it does leave a lasting impression.
I love movies that make me cry. When KHNH started with an introduction of all the characters, I didn't think that it would be one of those movies. To be frank, it doesn't start too well. But luckily it picks up and the second half and then I just let the teardrops flow ... endlessly ... it was quite amazing.
Saif is just brilliant. He is one of the most naturally cool actors around nowadays. Priety is good too and Shahrukh with all his overacting is truly the king of the box office. Even though everyone already knows the whole story its still so very watchable. Of course Manish Malhotra is brilliant as the designer, and the locations, the colors , mind blowing. The title track in fact is truly the piece de resistance of this movie. Watching Manhattan in all its glory ... tremendous ...
Jaya Bachchan is different and good, the story and characters also good, but there are a couple of directional errors - for starters how come Shahrukh is Aman Mathur when his chacha is Pritam Chaddha? Chacha - fathers brother - same surname? Wonder how many others caught it. Mr Advani, you're good but you'll get better.
Go for it.
