Hostel in school at D.P.S. R.K.Puram in New Delhi was the longest phase of my life till date (5 years) and I regard the experiences I had there as the very foundation of what are now my personality traits, my convictions and my priorities. It was a tough and challenging environment for a twelve year old but not once have I regretted my decision to go, which though based solely on my readings of Enid Blyton books such as Malory Towers and St. Clares, did in fact end up as a decision that changed my life for the better, she has been known to say often.

She did her graduation in Economics Honours from Shri am College of Commerece, New Delhi and was involved in several extra curricular activities, the most noted of which was her association with an international non profit student organization called AIESEC. It was with AIESEC that she traveled to Rome in Sept. of 1992 and participated in a Global Theme Conference, the output of which was a book, which included her name among that of 300 odd people.

While doing her graduation in Computer Applications at Institute of Management Technology, in Ghaziabad she met her husband Rajiv Rai who was pursuing his MBA at the time. After graduation they both moved to Bangalore where they worked for three years before moving back to their hometown of Delhi.

At present she lives with her husband and her one-year-old daughter Trisha in NOIDA near Delhi, India and works with one of Indias leading Information Technology Companies.

At 29, she believes she has traveled most of the world, though she intends to change that to the entire world before long, her friends and family are close to her heart and in her spare time she indulges in her two favorite hobbies writing and updating her website.
